It was an unforgettable experience! The bungalow in which we stood had the most beautiful view I've ever seen. Mike and his family did our best to feel well received. The food was delicious. When you come here, you have to expect a genuine experience and a living in the jungle. You must really be lovers of nature. Mike has organized a beautiful trip at a reasonable price to Port Resolution, white sand beach and to the volcano Yassur. You can reach a short 10-minute walk to the river and about 30 minutes to the volcanic ash field. The road is easy and very beautiful. We felt all the time safe. It is the best accommodation if you want to sleep close to the volcano. We would like to go back. Thank you Mike!

Rockwater Resort is an absolute diamond find! The attention to detail in everything from the guest interactions, the room, the food and the resort itself. I spent three days in this gorgeous place, not only doing the Tanna Island top sights (Mt Yasur volcano, Blue Cave, traditional village tour and the Giant Banyan tree), but simply spending time around the resort by the pool with a book or snorkelling off the front cliffs. Silvana and John are absolutely beautiful hosts with their care and attention for the experience of your own and other guests with the island and Vanuatu as a whole.

A rustic small resort that has stunning sea views and basic bungalows. Perfect for budget tavellers. Tom and his family were very hospitable. We fell in love with this place.

Complimentary Airport Transfers. Please advise the Resort of your flight details in advance. We stayed at White Grass for 3 nights and loved it! After our stay in the jungle/volcano it was a nice break to chill out at white grass. The restaurant food was amazing and the view is awesome. We also did a trip to the blue cave which I recommend.

Situated in Loanengo, Glowing Mountain view tree house features accommodation with a public bath and an open-air bath. This beachfront property offers access to a balcony and free private parking. The hospitality of Philip, Susan and their sons was absolutely incredible. They were so gracious with their time without being over bearing on your privacy. This is the spot to stay when checking out the volcano side of Tanna. You will have everything you need to see the vanuatu culture from the perfect location. For reasonable rates, the hosts will take care of any other logistic you need. -Set up the 2 hour car ride to and from the airport. -Local recipe dinners by Susan and she’s a great cook. I believe they offered lunch as well but I was going on these great adventures they offer to guide you through: -A local village that will show you dances and rituals of their indigenous culture -A hot spring heated river that flows into the ocean overlooking the volcano -And of course, the hike to the rim of the volcano. I had so much time to chat with the family and they are all so kind. I don’t leave reviews, I was very compelled on this one. Stay in this treehouse. Friendly reminder to grab cash and break it down in Port Vila or at the market in Tanna.

Offering a restaurant, a bar and sea views, Alofa Beach Bungalows is located in Lénakel, 100 metres from the beach. All bungalows feature a balcony. Free on-site parking is provided. John and Veronique were amazing hosts and were extremely helpful when our flights got cancelled. They happily involved us in their local culture and showed us their customs. Everything is clean, beds are super comfy. When the shower head broke he immediately fixed it within 24h. You can have breakfast, lunch and dinner for reasonable prices and all meals very good and delicious. I'm all positive about my 4-night stay, highly recommended!
