Hotel Metropolitan Kamakura is located in Kamakura, within 20 km of Sankeien and 21 km of Yokohama Marine Tower. I can recommend this hotel to anyone planning to visit Kamakura. It's a very short walk from Kamakura station and the hotel is as well in walking distance to major sightseeing sites of the city. There are plenty of excellent restaurant choices nearby and for people who don't want to spend money on the breakfast there is a family mart across the street. While rooms by European standard are a bit smaller they are larger than most of hotel rooms I have been to in 30 yeas of travelling to Japan. Breakfast is a bit pricy (3000 yen) but there are a lot of choices and the quality of the food, buffet, is excellent. The hotel is super clean, super efficient, the staff is outstanding and as mentioned before this is a clear recommendation.

The hotel was modern, clean and had a beautiful location. The Malibu suite exceeded our expectations. Beautiful view. The service was impeccable and the staff was so nice, helped us with everything we needed.

It is surrounded by many restaurants and it closed to Enoshima. The room has a very unique detail. Last, the staffs are superb, they helped us coordinate with a hotel we forgot stuffs. Highly recommend.

Kamakura seizan features a garden, terrace, a restaurant and bar in Kamakura. This 4-star hotel offers a 24-hour front desk and luggage storage space. The proximity to the train station was really convenient after a long travel day. When you arrive here you feel like you’ve found a sliver of paradise hidden in the center of Kamakura. We loved our room (chose a twin for more space) and wish we had upgraded to enjoy it even more. The bed was super comfortable and the room had amazing amenities. The staff here were the kindest on our trip, the man at the front desk is amazing! We want to come back here in the future.

This 1-star hotel offers a shared kitchen and a shared lounge.... Such a great hostel. The bed was one of the most comfortable ones I’ve had in three months travelling. And the staff spoke such good English and were extremely helpful with all my questions, went out of their way to help me with booking my next leg of travel. The location is also perfect, somewhere between the train station and the coast. Highly recommend.

Featuring a restaurant, the 3-star hotel has air-conditioned rooms with a private bathroom. 3 minutes walk from the Kamakura station. Also a couple of minutes to the Kocho street. Great location to either go to the beach or into the mountains. The hotel is very nice and clean. All the facilities and supplies are really considerable. I especially like the big bathroom. Used it every day. Excellent experience!
