Hartfield House Hostel offers pet-friendly accommodation in Applecross. Free private parking is available on site. Prompt and clear communication from beginning to end. In fact, the most detailed set of information I've received from any of the properties I've stayed in while driving around the NC500. Lara put my mind at ease by informing about late check-in procedures, so I didn't have to rush on the road. Normally, I prefer not to share bathrooms and kitchens, but given the high demand for properties around the area at this time of the year, I was left with no other option. This wasn't a problem at all. Everything is super organized and pristine, from the communal kitchen, laundry room, toilets and showers. I opted for a single room, which was clean, comfortable and adequate after a whole day on the road. Appelcross Village and Heartfield are surrounded by rugged, yet peaceful settings, and I wish I had dedicated more time to this area.

Featuring a garden, The Bunkhouse is set in Applecross. Among the facilities at this property are a shared kitchen and a shared lounge, along with free WiFi throughout the property. Clean room. Staff was friendly/helpful. Kitchen nice and clean. Enough fridges and places to put your stuff in. Lounge nice and looked like a nice living room. The area was lovely. A view over the kettle (highland coo). Free coffee, tea, and everything you require for having a coffee/tea and in the fridge there’s a bottle of milk every guest is welcome to use. Clean toilets/showers. Nothing to complain really.
