Set in the small village of Montesclado, Lo Paller de Roc is set in a converted stone barn dating from the 19th-century. It offers views of l’Alt Pirineu Natural Park. We loved the place, the atmosphere, architecture, the absolute quietness and serenity of the surroundings! We had our cat with us and the owners were very kind to allow her to stay in the room while we were out hiking. Also, they provided us with suggestions for routes and interesting places, we really had an excellent vacation here! Recommended for everyone who wants to disconnect from the busy life and submerge in the nature and quietness!

This family-run hotel is located in the centre of Llavorsí, by the River Noguera-Pallaresa. Founded in 1700, today it offers a bar-café, restaurant and free Wi-Fi. Marta is a lovely host. It felt like a homestay. The room with the view was the best thing. With a good internet connection, I was able to work from the room. Very centric location, 2 min from the town centre and 5 min from the sports adventure. The dinner was full on, you get 2 courses, desert and wine. We had to check out earlier so Marta prepared us a filling breakfast to take away. She is super sweet.

Lo Paller is located in the pretty town of Valencia d'Àneu. Ten km from the Aigüstortes Natural Park and 15 km from Baqueira-Beret ski slopes, it has a restaurant and bar. This is the best example of what people can achieve when they do things they love. Owners of hotels are very customer-oriented. They did their best to help us with any questions we had. The hotel by itself is really nice, clean, and cozy! I would recommend taking a half board as the food is very delicious.

Roch Hotel has a traditional restaurant and a lounge with open fireplace. This rural hotel is an ideal base for exploring the Pyrenees, including the beautiful Aiguestortes National Park. Felt like a family run hotel, very friendly, very helpful, nothing seemed too much trouble. Good dinner choice, reasonable prices.....great beer. Owner opened garage and let me park my motorbike in it, though am sure it was not needed as a very quiet little village, could only here birds..would definitely recommend it, and will stay again when in the area.

Excellent staff, super kind and helped us with whatever we needed. And even more than that The hotel looks new and renovated. The room was spacious, clean and the shower was really good! This charming family-run hotel is located in Rialp and offers attractive rooms with a flat-screen TV and tiled floors. Ski storage is available and there is a seasonal outdoor pool just 50 metres... A very cute place in Rialp. We stayed two nights spending time in the Sort area. A simple but lovely place, with spacious and very clean rooms, beds were comfortable and the owners were really nice. Breakfast was lovely offering us personalized choice of eggs and a plate of fresh vegetables. Definitely a place to go if in the area.

Proprietor was knowledgeable, flexible, accommodating, friendly, and had a great sense of humor. Good communication. Very helpful when we ran into a snag in our trip. Excellent breakfast and delicious dinner.

Roca Blanca is situated in the beautiful mountain town of Espot, in the Catalan Pyrenees. It is a traditional property with a gym, sauna and a free Wi-Fi area. My wife and I have travelled the world and have stayed in countless outstanding hotels. But our four days in Espot at the Roca Blanca will remain as one our most memorable and rewarding travel experiences. I could tell when we first entered that we were going to have a wonderful time. Josef, the owner, greeted us warmly and didn’t just check us in but gave us a full orientation to the hotel and Espot. May is low season in Espot and many restaurants were closed so Josef sent us to the local pub where the owner, Francisco, fed us for the next four days. Each morning after we ate our breakfast of local products, Josef would sit down with us and plot out our hikes. And each afternoon he would be eager to hear the tales of how our day went. At some point during our stay, my wife and I evolved from a hotel guest relationship to a true friendship. On our final evening we joined Josef’s wife, Anna, and son, Marc, for Ratafia as friends. With that kind of hospitality, we would have been happy in the most basic of rooms. But the rooms at Roca Blanca were generous in size and amenities and we slept soundly every night.
