We were given coffee, plantain, rum, bananas to feed the moneys, meat to feed the owl, eagles and parrots. Free drinking water, canoes and small boats to use. Being so close to wildlife was the highlight, lots of people from other hotels came as part of a tour to see the animals, and it was all wild (aside from the rescue baby owl). Free shuttle boat from the main port where the boat drops you off in puerto narino where we were met by Jonathan. (Boat from Leticia to perro Nariño is 2hrs costing 38.000 each) Our room was complete with fan and mosquito nets.

The hosts are really nice and helpful. The room was clean and has AC. The location is not in the center of Leticia but can be easily reached by taxi, tuc-tuc ou mototaxi from the Airport or the town. I recommand 100% :)

Situated in Leticia, 2.9 km from Tabatinga, Hostal La Esperanza features air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi throughout the property. All rooms have a TV with cable channels. Our stay was super nice! The family that owns the hotel are very friendly & welcoming and the rooms are very comfortable & clean. There was a fan and also AC which we could use in the evenings which made everything much easier as it's very hot and humid in Leticia. The room is equipped with everything you may need and very well taken care of. There was housekeeping, which was super helpful, as it rains a lot and it gets muddy so it's easy to get everything a bit dirty. We were very happy with our stay and appreciated the nice atmosphere and welcoming attitude. There is a shop directly by the hotel and the centre is like a 20 minute walk away, but it's a nice walk and not too difficult. The hotel is super close to the airport, which is very practical, as you can just walk directly when you arrive, and it's not noisy. We absolutely recommend it!

Offering an outdoor swimming pool and table tennis, Cabañas Yakuruna is located only 6 km from Amazonas River. Free WiFi access is available. Room was large and comfortable (upon request at arrival I received a room away from the street), staff was nice and helpful, showed me in the morning the entrance into their garden for great bird watching. Pool was refreshing, wifi worked sufficiently also for skype.

The sense of nature all around, the proximity to all that matters in Puerto Nariño, the tranquility at night, and I especially liked the hammock in the porch. That was an unexpected plus!
