Located in Yangshuo, The Bamboo Leaf Yangshuo offers a seasonal outdoor swimming pool. Eveything was amazing. I got super sunburned and needed a hotel that had a pool was a reasonable price a comfortable bed and had air conditioning. This hotel went above and beyond. The food was amazing. The room was amazing, the staff were amazing. The bed is western and is super comfortable. They picked me up from my previous hotel and the next day they took me to the pharmacy. They speak great english and provide free aloe and sunblock. They also arranged a taxi for me back to guilin at a reasonable price. THANK YOU

Positioned along Taohua River, Secret Courtyard Resort Hotel boasts a Chinese-style courtyard and is located in Lujia Village, just 2 km from downtown Guilin. A hotel in a Chinese village. The breakfast was great, the bed was comfortable and Xiao Ming had a good service attitude

The location and ambience of the lodge is perfect for a weekend getaway. The views are unparalleled and surreal. The lodge staff welcomed us with warmth, friendliness and hospitality. They are professional and we'll informed (and connected) with the local attractions. With their support we were able to attend shows and explore the surroundings. The lodge facilitates excursions such as the traditional light show, renting of scooters, massages, arranging transport and more. The surrounding areas are accessible by scooter and the driving conditions here are safe enough. The lodge is air-conditioned and mostly free of mosquitoes.

Surrounded amidst impressive Karst mountains, Yangshuo Mountain Retreat is located at the edge of Yulong River. Free WiFi access is available. Free parking space is offered. The staff are amazingly helpful and friendly and most speak English. The facility is located right on the river. The food, both western and traditional are both very good. There are plenty of daily activities available at the front desk that can be organized.

Wedged amongst the bamboo forests and rural farmlands, Riverside Retreat Hotel overlooks the beautiful water of the Li River. Tucked away from the city, relaxing, nice views. restaurant and pool available. Beautiful bike ride into town. Staff were so helpful and really made our stay feel special. Very close to a bus stop to Xingping, which was convenient! 15 min bike ride to the city of Yangshuo, bikes and e-bikes available to rent.

Right opposite Two Rivers and Four Lakes, Guilin Rong Lake Aroma Tea House, formerly Jing Guan Ming Lou Museum Hotel, is located in the city centre. Everything was on point. The ambience of the hotel is fantastic and the employees are always there to help, also they are fluent in english which helps a lot. They have touristic activities that they can book for you as well.

Set in Guilin, 1.3 km from Reed Flute Cave, Guilin Village Creek Inn offers accommodation with a fitness centre, free private parking, a garden and a shared lounge. Melody (at the reception) was really helpful and compensated for our inability to speak to mandarin. She organised all the tours for us and was very patient with us. We were upgraded for free and there is free tap water and breakfast included. The hotel is set in a really nice location which is tranquil, though you will need a bike or DiDi to get into town.

Located in Yangshuo, 4.6 km from Darongshu Scenic Area, Lanshan Moon Resort provides accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a fitness centre and a garden. The main attractions of Lanshan Wangyue Hotel are the outstanding location in a village not too far from the town of Yangshuo, but with a feeling of old rural China and magnificent unobstructed view of the karst peaks in all directions; and the friendly service by the owners, Mark Ma, Li Wu and Siwei, and their hard-working and helpful staff. Additionally, the rooms are commodious and offer full views-- distant mountains from the front, the village and close mountains on the back side. The beds are new and great for sleeping, plus the rooms have good insulation and are very quiet. The proprietors find out what the guests wish to do, and custom arrange and lead excursions into the surrounding countryside. In an area that has lots of tourists (almost all domestic Chinese), they can take guests on bike trips or hikes to places that no one else visits. Ask them to take you on the half hour climb up to the old Qing Dynasty bandits lair in a cave high above the surrounding countryside, or to one of the ancient villages in the area. So much to see and do in the area, with some of the finest scenery in China.
