Situated in Giubiasco, Scarpapè provides accommodation with free WiFi, seating area and a kitchen. Fitted with a terrace, the units feature a flat-screen TV and a private bathroom with bath or shower.... This was probably the BEST place we have ever stayed on our travels. The location is magical, with views of mountains above and Bellinzona down below. There is a huge fenced yard that our dogs loved running around and tanning. The studio ("Loft") and really large and modern. Internet was super. The hosts we very attentive and caring, even provided beds and bowls for our dogs, which was so appreciated. We were supplied with fire wood to have a fire in the wood stove every night. We spent two weeks at Scarpape and traveled to various places, such as Valle Verzasca, Valle Maggia, Monte Generoso, Monte Lema, and many others. It's possible to go on hikes right from the front door. It's all very accessible. We will definitely be back!

The Osteria Ritrovo dei Passeggeri is located at 800 metres above sea level, in the middle of nature with a marvelous view over the Lago Maggiore and the Ticinese Alps. Perfect location to get away for some peace and quiet. Plenty to explore and discover. It's a windy road up from Bellinzona but really worth the trip. You can also take a bus if you don't have a car. The view from the restaurant of the valley and the lake is absolutely stunning, day or night.

Staff was fantastic. Attentive, knowledgeable, just lovely people. The food in the restaurant is exquisite. Can be a bit on the pricy side, but if able, a night here for dinner is well worth it!
