Cape Tribulation
Noah Creek Eco Huts is a small family business that offer exclusive eco-friendly lodges and glamping accommodations in the heart of the Noah Creek Rainforest Reserve, the largest private World... The whole place was magical. We loved bathing in the outdoor shower and bath surrounded by tropical plants. We were here not long after cyclone Jasper hit, so most places in Daintree were closed and there were no other guests. We had to cancel a few tours we booked because of the cyclone but we think that was a blessing in disguise since it gave us time to relax, cook delicious meals in the outdoor kitchen, cool off in the swimming hole a few minutes walk away, walk north along the closed road, helped clear some of the deadfall along one of the trails (we volunteered). There were so many different rainforest sounds in the day and at night. The 5 nights we were there we didn’t use our car to get anywhere, other than when we arrived and left! We will be back one day in the future.

Epiphyte B & B offers accommodations with a private balcony or patio, just 5 minutes’ drive from the beaches of Cow Bay. All accommodations offers outdoor furniture, a fan and an private bathroom. I absolutely loved my stay at the Epiphyte B&B. Matt is a fantastic host and made sure everyone felt really welcome. With his welcoming nature he managed to build a community right from the start with everyone having dinner and breakfast together (there was absolutely no pressure to do so but we all enjoyed it very much and even those with kitchen facilities in their cabins tended to come over to the bigger communal kitchen). Apart from that, the B&B is right in the middle of the forest, surrounded by absolutely incredible nature. It offers extremely easy access to the daintree rainforest as well es the Great Barrier Reef which is only a 25min boat ride away. I honestly couldn’t recommend this place enough! Thanks Matt, you made my first few days in Australia truly special :)
Diwan
4 miles from Daintree Discovery Centre in Diwan, Eden Escape offers accommodations with access to an open-air bath. This property offers access to a terrace and free private parking. Eden Retreat was, to us, a little piece of paradise. The property, gardens and vista were beautiful. We felt completely removed from the rest of the world, and yet everything we wanted to see or do was less than half an hour away by car. Cooking was a breeze with the five-burner gas cooktop and oven, as was meal prep on the long wooden bench top. The pantry included staples such as coffee, tea, sugar, salt & pepper, olive oil and a few sauces and spices. We very much appreciated the inclusion of a stove-top coffee maker too. We loved the view from the bathroom whilst standing under the rain shower each morning. It's possibly the nicest bathroom we've ever seen. The property was truly unique and the use of stone, timber and rock was beautifully and carefully done. Sitting outside first thing in the morning and in the late afternoon listening to the birdsong was delightful. We felt very privileged to be surrounded by the Daintree rainforest whilst looking out over the Coral Sea. A very special place indeed.

We stayed 4 nights in the family unit which was very spacious and has everything you need with a full cooker, microwave, fridge and everything to cook with. The bed was very comfortable. The apartments are right in the Rainforest with lovely gardens adjacent to them which makes such a lovely setting. We were lucky and saw the cassowary making his trip through the garden. The apartment is very well located to explore the Daintree Rainforest. Thank you Marie for all your help and advice on where to go and for a lovely stay
Cape Tribulation
The lodge is located in the Daintree Rainforest, close to shops, restaurant and the beach. The staff at the lodge where all friendly, there is an onsite pool (not used) and cafe; good for breakfast and lunch.
Customer service was outstanding. The management help arrange various activities and special dining for us and everything was wonderful. The chef at the restaurant was awesome !
Very well kept in the heart of the Daintree Rainforest. Within 10 km of attractions. On-site dining with continental breakfast included.
Location and staff. The staff were most helpful with optional tours/activities. We inadvertantly paid on arrival without recalling that we had already paid when placing our booking. The staff quickly rectified this before we realised we had made a mistake.
Great location in the rainforest. Relaxing atmosphere. Great food..
The ultimate daintree experience! No fancy up market stuff! If you want a genuine daintree rainforest experience, there is no competition! Know what it's like to be a local!
Beautiful grounds, comfortable and spacious room, tasty meals with great ambience, and friendly, exceptionally helpful hosts. Highly recommend!
This was a most satisfying stay. The villas are spacious, clean, and comfortable and I couldn't fault them. The staff were extremely helpful in all regards, and I highly recommend this accommodation.
Friendly and courteous manager. Good value for money.
Location was beautiful, right in the Daintree Forest, and on the beach, with nothing for miles. Food was delicious, very high quality being so isolated. The cabins are small, but comfortable, perfect place to relax and get away from everything.
We stayed in The Cottage which was in an amazing, very private location. It was stunning with its own creek with waterfalls. Pristine! The cottage had everything required for a comfortable stay. No wifi/ mobile coverage which we knew before booking. Very comfortable bed. Perfect place to relax and soak up the Daintree Forest.
Unique house in the middle of the tropical rainforest w/ rainforest animals coming around, lot of room inside and outside to chill and enjoy the sound.
We were looking for our first stress-free rainforest experience when we found Wildwood. A wonderfully furnished cabin in the middle of jungle was just what we had in our mind. We did our grocery shopping in Cairns before we arrived in cape Tribulation, as timely advised by our host Sheree. The cabin had all the essentials we needed during our stay. Few cafes and ocean Safari tours office are around the corner (15 min walk). We enjoyed exploring the inhouse fruit orchard (thanks Jason for showing us around) and tasting few of them. We did the ocean Safari reef snorkeling tour. Highly recommended! We also just took time off doing board walks and the jungle walk which starts right behind the cabin is the best of them all. It is not boarded though but gives a nice jungle feeling. The nights were also uniquely amazing, sleeping to the rain and jungle noises. All in all, highly recommended. Will do it again if we happen to be around.
Beautiful cottage in the heart of the daintree forest. A very welcoming host and could not do enough for us.
