Situated in Windhoek, 800 metres from Warehouse Theatre, Chameleon Backpackers & Guesthouse features accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a shared lounge. Excellent for an overnight stay if you have a long journey through Windhoek. In two weeks of traveling, we stopped here three times and did not regret it even once. The tents have very comfortable heated beds, good for cold nights. There are showers and toilets nearby. The bar has very tasty food and daily specials. Overall a very cozy place at a good price.

This tent features a barbecue. Set in large grounds by the dry Arebbusch River, Arebbusch Travel Lodge is 5 km from central Windhoek. On late arrival, we ordered room service, wow what a surprise. Super service with good and tasty meals and the staff are super helpful and friendly. The rooms are beautiful and spacious. As a family we had our Room service dinner outside on the veranda. We will stay there on our return journey as well. To the security that was on duty, thank you for patrolling on a regular basis, we appreciate it very much. ALL STAFF WE DELT WITH - YOU ALL ROCK. I'm from London, UK and was DELIGHTED to spend an entire month living here - as a digital nomad - in my safe, cosy, private, glamping tent under the canopied shade of a sprawling camelthorn tree. FREE WiFi, access to a huge swimming pool, FREE breakfast (poolside at Roosters - across the road), wonderful staff (I love you Mercia!), access to an enormous kitchen, laundry facilities in site, private bathroom (no sharing), 5mins walk from a huge supermarket (and other shops, cafés and restaurants), FREE parking and live music across the road at Utopia on the weekends. The absolute bonus for me was daily bootcamp classes at 6:30pm (behind Roosters) and twice-daily yoga classes 15 minutes walk away with Suzi Seha (https://www.suziseha.com/). Bliss. Great value for money at 380NAD per night. My very own secret slice of Namibian paradise!

Beautiful sunsets. Our very large house had everything we needed and more. Too bad we only stayed for 1 night. Delicious breakfast and very tasty dinner.
