This historic colonial American bed and breakfast is located just 4.4 km from the New Orleans French Quarter district. It features a full breakfast and access to the streetcar line. The host was friendly, accommodating and a really good cook! He shared his experiences living in New Orleans and made a number of helpful suggestions for things to do while in the city that I might not have known. The room was very clean and quiet, and true to the period/era. Location was perfect, near the trolley stop. As a solo traveler, I felt very safe in the house, thanks to the house safety requirements. HIghly recommend!

Less than 3 miles from the New Orleans French Quarter, this bed and breakfast showcases antique furnishings and collectibles from around the world. It has free Wi-Fi and rooms with a private bath. What’s not to like. I wish we could have stayed longer. The bed was super huge and comfortable. The hallways were lit by motion activation. The room was huge. Even had Netflix. The street car stop is literally right in front of the house. You can buy a pass on the LePass app. The house is very quiet too.

The beds were very comfortable and it was quite even with a garage next door. It was easy to check in. The gentleman I keep talking to before arriving was excellent and helped a ton.

Featuring an outdoor pool and deck, India House Hostel offers shared accommodations in the Mid-City district of New Orleans along the Canal St. Streetcar Line. Whole facility looks amazing and friendly and I quite regretted staying for just one night. Staying in shared space would have been much more fun, but you never know till you get to the place.
