I specifically selected this hotel because it is in the old part of Monterey, away from canary row.

The room was great, right at the back as requested! It was really spacious and clean and had all the amenities one could ask for! It was our first time staying there and we definitely hope that we will come back!

The Super 8 by Wyndham Monterey-Wharf Fisherman's Aquarium is located in the Munras Avenue area of Monterey, 1.4 miles from Seaside Beach, 1.8 miles from San Carlos State Beach, and 1.6 miles from the... Easy enough check in, they charge your card twice for the first night though - and then revert one payment once you check in. This was a bit confusing but easily explained. The property is very convenient if you are doing a road trip as it’s right off the high way. We slept well, it was clean and comfortable. Great location between Monterey and Carmel, and super affordable.
