Wonderful staff, very clean rooms with all the home comforts you could wish for, breakfast in the room was a really nice touch. Fantastic location close to everything.

Everything was perfect about our stay - the room with the fireplace, the complimentary afternoon wine&snacks, the breakfast! Great place!

The heart of Cannery Row is 5 minutes' walk from this Monterey hotel. The Monterey Bay Aquarium and Fisherman’s Wharf are 10 minutes’ walk away. Free WiFi is available throughout the property. Location is excellent, staff friendly, and the room is big and has everything you need. You can spend more in the area for something fancier but the basics are done perfectly here.

Staff here goes above and beyond to be friendly and it was nice to feel taken care of. The room was amazing and it had this cute little half balcony that overlooked the ocean crashing up onto the rocks. Bed was very comfortable and room had a fireplace which was a nice touch.

Situated in Monterey and with Aeneas Beach reachable within less than 1 km, Monterey Hostel features express check-in and check-out, non-smoking rooms, a garden, free WiFi throughout the property and... I didn't have breakfast. it was hassle free and friendly..
