From the minute the cab pulled up I felt like I’d gone back in time. Oh, it’s completely modern, with individual ac and good showers alright. But it seems like something out of a movie, an eccentric independent comedy when life was good and there was a kind of innocent charm despite the cool modernist vibe. The two desk managers spoke fluent English and were both effective and charming in dealing with my several offbeat issues. The place was full of couples who seemed to be there for a day or two (Not hours!) to have a fun few days, most of them Asian and the odd Westerner who seemed much less fun than the former. I felt right at home with the large Turkish population (great food) and occasional girl gang, right at home with working class surroundings, and Itaewon is full of local service workers. There’s smoking and drinking on a few corners, lots of lovely pig restaurants, pet dogs from Pomeranians to Great Pyrenees, I even saw a laid back Border Collie. I like busses over subways and lots were nearby. Fast food joints, tourist junk shops, Trans bars and a tailor and coffee houses. KFC, McDonald’s, Subway. A convenience store on every corner. There’s even a grocer a few blocks away where you will see… fruit!

Just in front of Itaewon Subway Station (Line 6), Hamilton Hotel offers modern rooms with free internet in Seoul's Itaewon District. It has a rooftop pool which only runs for summer and a large sauna.... Clean. Itaewon station is just 2 mins walk infront of the hotel. Halal food along the street. Near Seoul mosque.

Located in Seoul, within 4 km of The National Museum of Korea and 4 km of Seoul Station, Itaewon A One Hotel offers free WiFi throughout the property. I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The location is really good, close to the subway, bars, proximity store, lots of local and international food nearby. There is a few steps to access the hotel but everywhere is the same in Itaewon.

Situated in Seoul and with The National Museum of Korea reachable within 4 km, H HOSTEL Itaewon features a shared lounge, non-smoking rooms, free WiFi throughout the property and a terrace. Location is awesome on the Antique Furniture Street, walking distance to many shops, cafés, bus stops and the metro. Staff is very professional and on top of things, facilities are kept spotless. The breakfast area is a great lounge to work from if needed, and also good spot to interact with other guests. Breakfast itself is just decent, with eggs at least. Coffee really sucks but luckily there is a good coffee shop downstairs where to get the real thing (and some good pastries too.)

Just got back to my home country and I had to immediately leave a review of this listing because of how pleasant my stay was - pre, during and post stay. I arrived in Incheon early morning and the staff were kind to allow me to keep my luggage in their lobby area first. It was raining constantly and after walking around Seoul for a while, I was drenched. Though it was not my check-in time yet the staff helped me to check-in a bit earlier (depends on their agreement) and I was able to stay warm (Seoul was 19 degrees Celsius at that time). During my stay, I had a bit of a discord with one of the tenant and even though it was around 3am in the morning, the staff helped mediate and was able to stop it from escalating further with much patience and professionalism. The fact that they took care of me and made me feel safe during the stay, as a solo female traveler, I am very grateful. I am forever thankful to the staff that had helped me that night. Even after I have checked-out, they still extended their help when I needed assistance. If any of you are a first time/solo traveler looking for a safe place to stay, Seoul Cube Itaewon is the place. Even the other tenants (minus the one I have encountered) are all kind and warm. 10/10 will stay here again🫶🏻

Isang minutong lakad lang ang G Guesthouse Itaewon mula sa Itaewon Subway Station (Line 6) at 15 minutong biyahe naman mula sa Seoul Station. The travelers you meet will be friends for life. Such a good atmosphere and general vibe.

The host was very very nice! We asked to change our room and they said yes immediately and were very cool about it! The location is perfect in Itaewon
