Everything was just so great in this hotel. They have very nice scenery and beautiful onsen. The breakfast and dinner are both delicious. We would like express our gratitude the staff at the hotel. I have inadvertently left a down jacket at the hotel. They kept it nicely and helped me to send it back home.

Built in 1722, Okyakuya is situated in the historical district of Kurokawa Onsen district. Located only 100 metres from Kurokawa Onsen, Free WiFi is provided and private parking is available on site. Breakfast and dinner that was provided was really good. Staff was really attentive and welcoming as well. They prepared decaf tea for us, even making sure that the meal was catered to what you asked for (no raw food, no beef etc). They helped us to parked the car, and even help to clean the exterior of our car! Room was great to experience local culture. Private onsen facilities was wonderful as well, just need to queue for it.

We spent 3 nights at the Sotetsu Fresa Inn Nihonbashi Kayabacho hotel after arriving in Japan (There is another Fresa Inn in the area, so make sure this is where you have your reservation). It is a relatively modern, functional hotel sometimes referred to as a business hotel.  The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was very small as is typical in Tokyo but very clean and functional.  The hotel is convenient to Tokyo station (20 minutes walking as a reference). After arriving on the Narita Express or by others means to Tokyo station, follow signs to the Tozai line (sky blue) subway. The easiest way to know which direction to go is to look at the numbers representing the stops.  The Tokyo station stop at Otemachi is T-9 and you want to go to T-7 Kayabacho. Leave the Kayabacho subway station via Exit 7 and the hotel is just around the corner.  From Kayabaco or the nearby Nihonbashi station, you can get all around Tokyo on the highly efficient subway system.  Use a Suica, Welcome Suica or Pasmo card to enter and exit subways and avoid the hassle of figuring out which ticket to buy or how much they coat. Just tap and go.  Enjoy. Kokura,Onsen EXPERIENCE JAPAN LIKE THE JAPANESE We decided to spend a couple of days in central Kyushu to enjoy a traditional Japanese ryokan experience. Boy, was that a great call! I88We stayed at the Yama no Yado Shinmeikan  in the Kokura Onsen area, which is an hour north of Aso city by bus. The ryokan is 130 years old but is clean and well-maintained. It features a total of 5 unique onsens, including one carved into a cave.  The ambiance is terrific and the staff is super friendly and helpful.  The ryokan is located along a flowing river and the sound of running water adds to the relaxing quality of the stay.  (The Fuji room is best). All accommodations are traditional Japanese tatami rooms which are made up for sleep each night by the staff as you enjoy the onsen baths.

Situated along Tanohara River and surrounded by tranquil nature in Kurokawa Onsen hot spring area, Oku no Yu Ryokan offers charming Japanese-style accommodation and various hot spring baths. Oku no yu was great! The staff picked us up from the bus station and dropped us off. The facilities had a public and many private onsens to try. The staff helped us set up our futons and there were yukatas for us in the room. We had breakfast there and it was very yummy. Overall, great experience and would recommend!

Located in the centre of Kurokawa Onsen, Oyado Noshiyu offers outdoor and indoor hot-spring baths, Japanese-style accommodations and a traditional teahouse. Beautiful Japanese ryokan with amazing Onsen hot springs. The staff presented us with incredible hospitality, a true ryokan experience. The room was large, clean and very comfortable. The included dinner and breakfast were unique and excellent, mainly consisting of traditional local cuisine that enhanced our overall express. One of the best highlights of our Japan trip!

Nanjoen terletak di pusat Kurokawa Onsen Area dan menawarkan 8 pemandian air panas indoor/outdoor. Akomodasi ini menawarkan akomodasi bergaya tradisional Jepang dengan tatami (anyaman jerami). The room was lovely, large tatami room with a table and chairs by a hand he window with a view of the mountains. The bath was well appointed and serene with a nice open air bath area. The dinner and breakfast were just delicious. Highly recommend!

Boasting spacious indoor and outdoor hot spring baths surrounded by lush greenery, Ryokan Wakaba provides Japanese-style accommodation in the peaceful mountain area. Service was exceptional and should be the standard for Japanese service.

Ryokan Ichinoi menawarkan akomodasi bergaya Jepang dengan jubah Yukata Jepang, 5 menit berjalan kaki dari pusat daerah mata air panas Kurokawa. Everything was perfect, especially the service. We took a bus there and the staff picked our luggage up at the bus station and let us explore the small town freely, and lent us umbrella since it was drizzling. The cook accommodated to our diet restriction and made us a very sumptuous meal at dinner and lunch. The Onsens are good too. There were not many guests so we basically enjoyed them as private ones. The place is 8 minutes hike from the town but since the staff offered us shuttle from and to the bus station, commuting is no problem at all.

Berlokasi 49 km dari Danau Kinrinko, Kurokawa Mori No Kiki terletak di Kurokawa Onsen di Minamioguni. Akomodasi ber-AC ini berjarak 41 km dari Gunung Aso. We travelled to Kurokawa onsen Mori No Ki Ki by driving from Kumamoto, it took us about 2 hr. The staff (or the owner) was so kind and willing to facilitate and keen to support us nicely. We were so much impressed and appreciated. The house was so clean, the onsen was good. Home made bread was excellent. We suggest the visitor should come before the evening as to see the sign clearly. The sign showing the accommodation name a bit small comparing to the others, so you may miss when it is dark. The rest are excellent, if you like peace and relax with warm heart, you may like this one.
