Fantastic 3-night stay in Gion, the best hotel we’ve stayed at on our trip to Japan. Rooms are spacious, clean, modern, and the hotel has everything you need (laundry and ice machine, and any extra amenities on ground floor). Staff are very friendly and helpful with any questions you may have, and allowed us to keep our bags at the hotel before check-in and also for a few hours after check out. The location is perfect to explore central Kyoto and only a 10-min walk to the Chion-in Temple and Maruyama Park.

In a prime location in the Higashiyama Ward district of Kyoto, NOHGA HOTEL KIYOMIZU KYOTO is located 1.2 km from Kiyomizu-dera Temple, 1.1 km from Sanjusangen-do Temple and 1.3 km from Gion Shijo... Best hotel we stayed in for Japan! We booked a standard double bed and the room was huge! We were happy we did not upgrade upon arrival as there was no need to in the end. We were sorry we didn't stay here longer and do a day trip or two to Osaka instead, as Osaka is only a 15 min Bullet Train ride and every hotel after this was a let down as they were so cramped and more expensive. There's so much to do in Kyoto too! The bar upstairs is unbelievable and the cocktails and mocktails were unreal. Breakfast was delicious and the staff were so lovely!

Awarded two pavilions by the Michelin Guide 2020, Hotel Alza Kyoto is situated near the Kamo River and within Gion District, a 2-minute walk from Sanjo Station. Great location! Really helpful staff! Would come back here again.

Located in Kyoto, less than 1 km from Gion Shijo Station, Gion Elite Terrace provides accommodation with a shared lounge, private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. Loved the amazing friendly and helpful  staff, who gave us good advice and discussions. Great location in central Gion in a quiet street but walking distance to almost anything.  Great variety and range of eating places and the river close by and of course as many temples as you need with cool peaceful gardens as well as museums. Nishiki Market is a short bus ride or interesting 20min walk.  The room was beautiful and fully equipped incl a small kitchenette, electric blackout curtains and lots of tech Breakfasts were copious and varied to suit most tastes, best scrambled egss in Japan. Amazingly bestiful designer chairs in a little sitting area and free laundry room was an unexpected bonus!

Well set in the Higashiyama Ward district of Kyoto, Rinn Gion Kenninji Villa is set 1.1 km from Samurai Kembu Kyoto, 1.5 km from Shoren-in Temple and 1.7 km from Kyoto Shigaku Kaikan Conference Hall. Beautiful space. Spacious and clean. Wonderful for our family of 4. Close to train station and convenience stores. Able to easily explore Kyoto. Staff was amazing, able to help us on multiple issues.

Well situated in the Higashiyama Ward district of Kyoto, Rinn Kitagomon is situated 1.3 km from Sanjusangen-do Temple, 1.5 km from Samurai Kembu Kyoto and 1.4 km from Kiyomizu-dera Temple. everything.It was small and clean hotel,we had everything what we needed. The room was really big by Japan hotel standards . We stayed in February so it was very warm in our room . The staff was friendly and helpful 💚at our departure day we went or see Inari Fushimi at 7 am,and the staff usually come at 8am so they told us to leave our baggage at our room and they took it to the luggage room down stars ,so we didn’t have to wait until 8am or leave our luggage at the lobby. The beds were amazing and comfortable and the sheets weee soft.
