The 4* Mespil Hotel is located in the city centre alongside the Grand Canal & within walking distance to St. Stephen’s Green, Grafton Street, Aviva Stadium and the Ballsbridge area. All the staff were welcoming and friendly and were very helpful. The locale was perfect and within walking distance of museums and other sites we wanted to see.

Welcome to Schoolhouse, an enchanting and historic hotel in the heart of Ballsbridge, just a 10- minute walk from Dublin's bustling city center. Everything about our stay was so positive! We were early so called in to let them know we had parked in the carpark (at around 12pm) and they let us check-in early. Rooms are spacious, very very clean and looked great. Bed was so so comfortable and massive! The cooked breakfast and pastries were really really good too! We will definitely be back.

Overlooking the 48-acre Herbert Park in Ballsbridge, Dublin 4, this hotel is located 100 metres from the RDS and 5 minutes’ walk from the Aviva Stadium. The staff were outstanding. Everyone was so polite, pleasant, friendly and helpful. Also, it’s in a perfect location. We will definitely return.

This time the room for our stay was pretty small and we just elected not to have service because the poor staff would literally be jumping over large bags at the foot of each bed (one double, one twin.) But it is always clean, always amazing staff who takes GREAT care of us and fabulous food. We particularly want to recognize Thiasa in the restaurant who went WAY out of her way on a cold and rainy night to give me a to-go cup of lemon and honey when she heard me clearing my throat a lot and to Igor in the bar who was so wonderful to talk to and went WAY out of his way to help an elder man while we were there. WE LOVE SANDYMOUNT!!! We will be back next May!
