Offering a shared garden and city view, at 300 metres from Portobello Beach and 3 km from Arthurs Seat. it was beautifully decorated and cozy. We loved the location and the layout of the apartment. Anne was also very responsive, friendly, and left great instructions for entering the property

Chris and Sinead were incredible hosts and made us feel at home from check-in. The breakfast each morning was something we looked forward to each day. It was restaurant quality (wife asked for a recipe) and the soft background music (personal note here) was spot on. Our room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. The property is located near a bus stop, so getting around isn’t an issue. Lastly, it’s a 2 minute (max) skip down to the beach. It’s one block away.

The apartment is lovely…looking out directly onto the beach. There are a lot of stairs being third floor. Not for the fainthearted or those expecting to do a lot of cooking (carrying bags up those stairs would be hard)! But location wise, bang on. Over the top of a cafe and pub. Hot evenings so plenty on the beach till late but not terribly noisy. Exactly what you want for a break…we had breakfast at the cafe and lunch at the pub!

The public bus was so easy to catch and take around, we absolutely made the most of our stay.

Ubytovanie Portobello Charming Seaside 3-BR Holiday Apartment je situované v Edinburghu len 2 min. chôdze od miesta Pláž Portobello Beach a 5 km od miesta Edinburgh Playhouse. We loved the location! Same block as the beach... it doesn't get much better than that! Being in a first-floor flat was also good for us, and we were thrilled with all of the kid friendly amenities. The books, toys, kid potty seat, and indoor swing were all huge hits with our kids (4 and 2) and made our stay all the more pleasant.

It was really easy to keep clean, to park but we are out of high season, there was plenty of storage, plates, cups just everything we needed including a washing machine, fridge, freezer and clothing rack. The views are great too.
