Anne was always available for information. I would book the flat again at any time. To summarise, a great city and accommodation.

It was an amazing experience to stay at Straven Guesthouse. I felt at home, the bed was very comfortable and the room was beautiful and warm. Breakfast was a whole variety of delicious dishes, home made and beautiful. The sea front is only a few steps away and I enjoyed walking along the sea promenade to the cafés - and walking along the sea shore. I felt looked after and cared for by Sinead and Chris. Cottage was beautiful. Close to the bus station. Take to 124 to city center.

What a beautiful home, thank you so much for sharing the space with us! We traveled 4000 miles to be with family for a holiday, and found ourselves very comfortable, with plenty of room, enjoying amazing views, and in a great location! The public bus was so easy to catch and take around, we absolutely made the most of our stay.

We had a lovely stay at the Beach house, it's in a great spot, right on the beachfront in Portobello which was such a treat. Two good sized double rooms with comfy beds, a bathroom with a huge walk in shower and a kitchen/living room space for hanging out in. Plus a lovely helpful host too! Thanks for having us ❤️

We loved how homy it was and that it was right in front of the beach. The apartment was so inviting and was perfect for my 3 year old toddler. It even came with beach toys and a swing!!! We had such a great time.

So close to the beach and attractions there, with bus transport just a few mins' walk away (also close enough to the city to Taxi or Uber if preferred). Overall, the perfect retreat after a day's exploration around Edinburgh - somewhere to get warm and dry and recharge for the next day🙌
