I was surprised it had not four stars.

The suite was marvelous and very comfortable. The restaurant of the hotel (breakfast, dinner) was extremely high level. The reception was very kind and helpful.

Superior hotel, room was beautiful, service was tops, and the concierge is a Clef d'Or and managed to secure us reservations to a three star Michelin restaurant with 48 hours notice, and the location is RIGHT next to the beach, Monte Urgull, the old town, and, if you're coming from Bilbao, the bus terminal. This is an elite hotel that is shockingly good value in an amazing location in an incredible city, and you should stay here.

Catalonia Donosti has a restaurant, seasonal outdoor swimming pool, a fitness centre and bar in San Sebastián. A smart and tasteful hotel, with excellent staff, set conveniently in the town, but in a raised position away from the noise and hustle of the street. Great secure parking too.

Boasting a terrace, Intelier Victoria offers accommodation in San Sebastián, a 4-minute walk from La Concha promenade. The location was excellent! The rooms, though small, were spotless and well equipped with comfortable beds, nice toiletries and a well-stocked minibar. I had a lovely terrace with city views. I didn't have breakfast, but other people I was traveling with did and I hear it was fine.
