Everything was just perfect but the most pleasant aspect of the hotel itself was the extremely friendly atmosphere created by the wonderful staff. I felt welcomed from the minute we entered. The room was tastefully designed and I will never forget the super-comfortable bed and pillows. Truly worth the stay.

The Santo Mauro, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Madrid is situated close to Madrid’s Paseo de la Castellana. Free WiFi is available in all areas. Beautiful hotel, property and excellent staff. We loved the decor, the focus on details and the outside grounds (despite the cool weather during our visit). The bar (with local cocktail) was a highlight. We had a nightcap each night of our stay. The breakfast room (library) was amazing too.

The location was excellent, the room was very good, the terrace was terrific with a sunbed and a tent, the room was clean and tidy, the AC worked well, there was a Nespresso machine, and the bed was comfortable.

Good amount of space. There’s a mini bar cooler that I was able to fit some of my own drinks inside. The AC works very well. It was quiet for the most part. Wifi was consistent throughout the hotel and even if you stood outside. Next door to a small grocery store and a few minutes walk from places to get food, bars, and I believe a nightclub or two. Felt very safe walking around late at night. Love that after a certain time the doors to the hotel don’t automatically open and that there’s only one entrance for people to go through. The snacks and drinks in the lobby were a nice touch. It was a very good experience and I’ll be back when I’m in Madrid again.
