Catalonia Magdalenes Hotel is set in Barcelona, 200 metres from the Cathedral of Barcelona and offers a terrace with an outdoor pool with views of the Cathedral and a spa. The *entire* staff were attentive and warm with the front desk staff being exceptionally animated and friendly. Special shout-out to Salvatore. We were lucky enough to get a room upgrade for our stay. The Penthouse room was one of the most fantastic spaces I have *ever* seen - we had a duplex space with a lounge, a terrace overlooking magnificent Barcelona, and a spa-like bathroom. A fantastic blend of luxury without any compromise on comfort. The bed itself was like sinking into a cloud. Everything was magical - with so much attention to detail and special touches. I loved little things like a card on your bed after turn-down giving you an indication of the next day's weather forecast, and a call once we were in our room to ensure we were happy. The area around the hotel is charming and wonderful with tons of shops and places to eat. We ate at the restaurant on site which was superb. Breakfast too was fantastic with tons of options. I only wish we had time to make it to the rooftop pool and bar.

The Catalonia Catedral is set in a traditional Modernist building, just 100 metres from Barcelona Cathedral. Location first. Then room and breakfast.

The 19th-century Duquesa de Cardona Hotel 4 Sup by Duquessa Hotel Collection, opposite Barcelona’s marina in the Gothic Quarter, is 600 metres from the Ramblas and has free Wi-Fi. Stayed there for a week with a family. Smiled hotel crew always asked if I need anything and open to help. Ideal location, Gothic Quarter and El Born districts just around the corner. My wife still says that, when we come back to Barcelona, we will go to this hotel again :).

Enjoying from an ideal location right opposite the sea in Barcelona's Gothic Quarter, Serras Barcelona is a 5-star hotel with a rooftop infinity pool and with our Restaurant Informal by our Michelin... I loved the central location, close to the marina with great views. The hotel room was spacious and the breakfast buffet was filled with great quality bread and cheeses.

Set in the heart of Barcelona’s Gothic Quarter, Aparthotel Arai 4* Superior features an outdoor swimming pool, a gym with a sauna, and a rooftop terrace with city views from its two terraces. Perfect location, and really nice rooms. The kitchenette is well stocked. The rooftop pool was a treat after long nights out in Barcelona. Staff were friendly and helpful.
