Andaz Shenzhen Bay features a fitness centre, garden, a terrace and restaurant in Shenzhen. I tell the hotel that we are celebrating birthday and they gave us a free cake, fruit and also decorated the room with balloons. Which is totally surprising.

The hotel is very good value for money. Very clean, big rooms. At check in they accept western credit cards (Mastercard, Visa). At least one member of staff we spoke to spoke English, other used translator on the phone to communicate which works very well, so check-in and out was smooth. 10 mins from metro Daixin (in Chinese 大新). This is the closest metro station. It is Green Line (Line 1), second stop after changing from line 11, which goes from the airport. It makes the location super convenient to visit the city. Total time from the airport to the hotel by metro took us under 45 min, ticket price 5 Yen per trip. You can exchange money to get cash at the airport. A lot of food options around: both street food and restaurants.

DoubleTree By Hilton Shenzhen Nanshan Hotel & Residences features air-conditioned rooms with cable flat-screen TV in the Nanshan district of Shenzhen. The staff have been very helpful. Specially the front office lady Ms Violet who was very helpful in getting local information for us on tennis courts availanle for play, bookstores for children, shows and theatre performances. The breakfast spread was good with many healthy choices

Offering outdoor pool and indoor pool, Hilton Shenzhen Shekou Nanhai is located in Nanshan District, Shenzhen. Free Wi-Fi access is available in all public areas. The team was really professional, especially the restaurant and restaurant meeting rooms are operated flawlessly. We had a business meeting we had to organize, a staff member called Queen took care of us. She provided a detailed plan for the next days meeting and even helped us pick the menu for the main course. The service was top notch and the place is also super clean. We will definately be coming back to this hotel whenever we have a meeting in Shenzhen.

Pool and spa great, but closed for a few days over Chinese New Year as expected. Room service and cleaning all excellent.
