A very comfortable hotel with great views of Lake Thun and the adjacent mountains. We paid extra for 2 rooms with a view - well worth it; a lovely balcony allowed access to cool breezes and views of the sunset. The breakfast was very good. We chose this hotel because of its quiet location and proximity to public transportation; the bus and lake boat station are only a 15-minute walk from the hotel.

Although tiny but the products offered mighty. Excellent choice of bread. Fantastic assorted cheese. sensational ham, salami and such cold cuts. Very nicely renovated rooms, very comfy beds, stylish bath with abig walk in shower cabin. As a coffee lover you get offered a selection of nespresso coffee pads which you can use in a chilly lounge room on the same floor as your room is located.

The bus stop is right across the street for trips into Thun. The public bus service is free for tourists who book and stay in accommodation in the area. The WiFi was fast and strong. The room had a lovely terrace overlooking the lake. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom is a good size and water pressure is very good in the shower. Parking was very good but after we had booked the room with free parking the hotel tried to charge us for the parking. It was eventually resolved after we presented the free parking confirmation. Staff (particularly Patricia) on the front desk were very helpful.

We enjoyed staying at the property that had beautiful views of the mountains and the lake from the balcony and breakfast nook. It was so nice to have a complete kitchen to prepare a few meals. The Raclette pans, free parking, and washing machine were great added features. The location is ideal, just up the hill from 3 supermarkets, 7 mins away from Thun and less than 1 hr drive to Interlaken. I would stay here again.
