Everything was nice.The team is very welcoming,it’s a beautiful spot in Santa Teresa,very close to everything and in a quiet street so you can sleep like a charm. The hotel is beautiful and decorated with taste.I will definitely come back again the next time I stay in Santa Teresa.

Near to the bars and the whole nightscene but still in a quiet area to get a good sleep. Rooms and common area like in the pictures. It was clean and provided with what you need for a stay. Rio de Janeiro’s historic and cultural neighbourhood of Lapa is at your doorstep at the Hotel Americano. All rooms come equipped with air conditioning and cable TV. Free parking is available. My room was large and my bathroom had been newly renovated and had a large jacuzzi. I also had a small entrance room that had a fridge and computer table. I was comfortable and overall enjoyed my stay. The location is relatively central although you do have to walk a bit to the metro.

This Hostel is the most beautiful Hostel where I’ve ever been and the people who work there are soo kind and so welcoming☺️ The whole atmosphere was very different compared to other hostels, the kitchen was super clean, well organized and you just had the feeling you live there with friends. I also really appreciated how much they care about you and that they exchange numbers to stay in contact and make sure that you arrive safely when you go out in the evening. Thank you so much for everything, I will definitely come back!!<3

Situated within 4.2 km of Escadaria Selarón and 6.2 km of Maracanã Stadium, Pousada Rio144 features rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Rio de Janeiro. Everything about Jean's hotel is exceptional - every detail was thought through meticulously and Rio144 is by far one of the best, most comfortable and prettiest places we've ever stayed in. The bedroom view to Pão de Açúcar is spectacular and something out of a movie. Some people might be put off by the location, but we didn't feel unsafe at any point during our stay and the positives definitely outweigh the small inconvenience of a 15 minute uber ride and the steep hills that need to be taken to get to the hotel. The highlights are too much to be mentioned in detail, but we were welcomed by monkeys surrounding the hotel trees and Jaqui, the chef, cooks a genuine traditional breakfast to die for.
