Plano is very comfortable everyone everywhere had a very pleasent attitude. I experienced many multicultural places. Traffic was big city traffic so you will spend time driving. Plano is located less than 10 miles outside of Dallas, and is easy-traveling distance to both Love Field and DFW Airports. As with many suburbs in America, there are many local and chain restaurants, a WalMart, Target, and grocery stores. According to James, a fab Uber driver, Plano is one of the better burbs near Dallas to offer share-rides. What's even better is there are fun things to do in and around Plano as well as the proximity to Dallas. Popping downtown for a meeting, dinner, or drinks is easy. Happily, if you are entrenched at the Cambria, just about any food or drink delivery service you can think of do, in fact, delivery in Plano. Good if you want to avoid the heavy traffic around the area. An interesting FYI, the locals say Plano is in a bubble as it rarely rains in Plano but will instead rain in McKinney and the areas around while Plano stays dry much of the time. Plano is a great city… Red Roof Inn of Plano is a disgrace to the entire state of TEXAS!!!! How can a non-smoking room smell like stale cigarettes?? But you’re charging a fee for deposit ? How can a room with no fridge or microwave have a deposit ? How can a room with filthy linen charge a deposit fee ? I mean FILTHY , BURN HOLES, Permanent Stains I kept rolling them back to see if something was clean, to no avail. The floors are filthy…. Etc. I’m confused on the deposits purpose. The coffee maker was broken but replaced the next day. The light in the kitchen did not work. The second day of my stay the toilet would not flush and I had to pour saucepans of water to flush away after use. The bed mattress was very lumpy.

Booking.com did not represent Candlewood Suites accurately. We ended up going to another hotel group and we will only book and stay within that group for future hotel accommodations. We will not trust a booking site. Plano and the Dallas area is great and there are so many things to enjoy.

You can walk to many shops and restaurants. I have to say that the food made the biggest impression! The buffet breakfast is a little pricey but has an incredible selection of fabulous food! The food on the menu is also terrific! We highly recommend the Peruvian Beer Can Chicken! I even attempted to make it when we got home! We were there for a business meeting and everything that was served was DELICIOUS!!
