Situated in Atami and only 500 metres from Atami Sun Beach, Marina Bay Atami features accommodation with sea views, free WiFi and free private parking. Everything was great! 4 adults and 4 kids stayed there perfectly. Apartment was clean, had plenty of towels, disposable toothbrushes and body washing sponges. The manager was super nice, and the location was very convenient. We didn’t have a car, but everything was so close, so we didn’t need it anyways. We had amazing view of spectacular fireworks at the roof top!! I can keep going for many more positive experiences. We will be back!

Situated in Minamiizu and only 90 metres from Yumigahama Beach, Villa Yumigahama features accommodation with sea views, free WiFi and free private parking. The best experience in Japan. Owner offered to take me to the villa from the bus station late night, having a friendly chat which made me feel like home. Most importantly, the villa is super good for like 8 people, well-equipped and perfect view of the forest and the seaside. Quite a pity didn’t get a chance to have a barbecue because of the weather, which gonna be nice. (Since limited restaurants nearby at night, better bring some food. Heard that only a few restaurants offer nice food there.) I didn’t expect the next day the staff offered to drive me to the sakura festival free, completely becoming my personal guide. Such a great chat on the car and the staff also drived me to the station. The staff even send me message telling me to contact them whenever I got trouble in Japan. That warm feeling is a true gift when we traveling abroad.

A recently renovated holiday home set in Kawazu, ハートリサイデェンス 河津 features a garden. This property offers access to a balcony, free private parking and free WiFi. The house, which is a large, two story old building that was likely originally for a two-generation family, is beautiful inside. The first floor has two large tatami rooms next to a hallway with large windows. There are futons in the closets for extra guests. It also has a spacious kitchen/living room with a comfortable small sofa and large wooden table that could easily accommodate 6 or more people. The bathtub is large and stone, with onsen water. It takes a while to fill up, but is a lovely experience to enjoy. Upstairs is another kitchen/living room area that is L shaped. In the living-room end, four beds are laid out (two were pushed together to make one large bed). They are incredibly comfortable with warm feather comforters. There is an additional tatami room with a large bed and a small room where one could telework with another wrap-around sofa and a small wooden table. The internet is spotty in the town itself, but fast in the house. Outside is a lovely hinoki foot bath for two people. Outside is a large kawazuzakura (sakura) tree in the parking area, which means that you can enjoy the flowers without having to even go to the riverside! It is truly just steps away from the house. We were very grateful for the excellent location, as most travelers stayed in ryokan farther away from this central location, and perhaps as a result, the area became more sparce in the late afternoon/early evening. This allowed us to enjoy the cherry blossoms along the avenue by the road to the fullest. Despite being right next to a road where lots of tourists pass, it is very quiet in the house, and at night (by 9PM) the roads are almost completely devoid of both cars and people. The house is extremely clean. There are a few small areas, like the bathroom sink, that look less clean, but this is just because the house itself is old, and should not cause anyone concern.

Views of the ocean from every room, huge spaces, luxurious linens and comfortable beds, lots of beach and sporting equipment available to use, easy drive from beaches and Shimoda, everything was super luxurious and this was the BEST house we've stayed at in Japan!

Rino to Hiroto no Himitsukichi - Vacation STAY 92317v is an accommodation situated in Minamiizu, 32 km from Tago-minato and 48 km from Izu Kogen Station. Pros: Inhouse onsen was the highlight during our stay. Unit is next to the river and so calming. I could have hot ramen outside of the house during the night. Owner was a couple, and they were so welcoming. Initially there was no instruction in collecting the key. Luckily the door was not locked and the owner just stay next door.

Featuring garden views, 農家民宿 佐京園 offers accommodation with a garden and a terrace, around 17 km from Rengejiike Park Fuji Festival. Stayed for a weekend with this fantastic family in the middle of their tea farm. The host made us feel at home, offering tea and helping us move from the train station and back. All the meals were freshly cooked, delicious and very good portion. hosts also helped us organising the trip to the suspension bridge. We loved sharing the space with them and the cats! Experience the true culture and connect with amazing people, highly recommend.
