Set in Shimoda, 35 km from Kumamoto Castle and 36 km from Hosokawa Residence Gyobutei, 南あその丘 offers air conditioning. The location of the house with such beautiful scenery was the highlight. We utilized the BBQ on 2 of the 3 nights we stayed and it was quite nice to have. The view while grilling of the volcano was really nice. The home was clean and the kitchen and dining area was quite large. There is a washing machine that also dries the clothes which made it nice to not have to pack so much. The tub was quite sophisticated where you can set the temperature and it would automatically fill. It is good to note that the home is located in the geo park so there are no grocery stores nearby so it is good to get your BBQ supplies and food before arriving to the home.

Kurokawa Mori No Kiki is set in the Kurokawa Onsen district of Minamioguni, 49 km from Kinrinko Lake. This property offers access to a balcony, free private parking and free WiFi. We travelled to Kurokawa onsen Mori No Ki Ki by driving from Kumamoto, it took us about 2 hr. The staff (or the owner) was so kind and willing to facilitate and keen to support us nicely. We were so much impressed and appreciated. The house was so clean, the onsen was good. Home made bread was excellent. We suggest the visitor should come before the evening as to see the sign clearly. The sign showing the accommodation name a bit small comparing to the others, so you may miss when it is dark. The rest are excellent, if you like peace and relax with warm heart, you may like this one.

The host family was very nice and made us a delicious japanese breakfast. Furthermore they made great restaurant recommendations. The house is stylishly furnished and has a beautiful view to the valley and the Aso mountains.

What a delight to stay at this beautiful Japanese style house with an abundance of amazing paintings by the owner. Spacious, cozy and functional rooms as well as the most kind and welcoming host. We would recommend this place to anybody who wants to have a great Japanese experience that really stands out. We would love to come back some time.

The property is well taken care. The owner provided everything we need. All facilities are in good condition. Despite that we do not understand Japanese, the owner has a translation note in English on most of the equipment.

Located in Takamori, 32 km from Egao Kenko Stadium Kumamoto and 41 km from Suizenji Park, Minami Aso Guest House Hana hana - Vacation STAY 13316 offers air conditioning. The rooms have facilities that are suitable for families. The owner is very nice and enthusiastic to guide us in English. We are very impressed and will definitely come back if we have the chance.
