The staff were attentive, communicative, and friendly. They helped us contact different activities, booked transport for dinners, and even helped make a takeaway package of the breakfast for us to take to the airport. The brochure the hotel provides for activities to book had great options (we did all-day game drive in Kruger, river rafting, and horseback riding. highly recommend the river rafting!). The hotel itself was adorable. Very quiet, the Western, saloon-theme contributes to the quaint ambiance. The manager's cats roam around the property and are very friendly. Additionally, we loved Rachel's Spa, which is on the property. We got our nails done as well as hot-stone massages and facials. The prices of the spa were also reasonable and the staff did a great job. Breakfast was also quite decent, and we appreciate that it came with our booking fee. We booked the family room for 3 of us, and it was a very spacious room with 2 separate rooms: one had two full beds and a desk, the other was like a studio apartment with a king bed, the bathroom, a tv, desk, and mini fridge and kettle.

The breakfast was good but the lunch can be improved on. Enjoyed the dinner which was included in the price and reminded me of home! The lodge is very close to the KNP gates and has enough space to take morning/evening walks.

The breakfast was good. Standard for an overnight, business stay. We had takeaways for supper and they were tasty. The staff were very accommodating and kept our leftovers in the fridge for us, overnight.
