It’s rustic and comfortable feel. I also loved that it’s in the mountains and was a 2 minute walk from the venue of the Warriors conference 2024. The breakfast was a plus because some of our colleagues staying at other hotels in the area said their hotels did not serve as much food as Silver Fox Inn did.

Great staff, very friendly front desk. Room was spacious and very clean. Deep jacuzzi tub was a huge bonus. Rooms were quiet even though lodge was full. Staff gave great recommendations for meals.

The location was incredible - perfectly tucked away from the main street but still a short sight away from amazing views of Loon Mountain. There was surplus of board games for a rainy day, and plenty of common area seating. Everything was so well thought out - from the ear plugs in the rooms if you are a light sleeper to the different choices of milk for your coffee in the morning. We also made use of the white noise machine! My boyfriend and I had such a relaxing stay.

Breakfast was fine the waffle machines were flawless. Front desk was absent a lot but not a problem. Pool heaters were down on a big weekend but stuff happens.

Summer: There is very little in way of food options in this area that is within walking distance of the condo rentals and due to COVID times (?) some things (stores and restaurants) close early. Town Condos area has some food options but you will have to drive 20+ mins to get to anything else, like Lincoln NH.
There are some hike paths; some marked out better than others.
When staying overnight, be sure to research the location you are selecting; some don't offer A/C units and you may have to go offsite to use amenities.

The description of the room was wrong.
The description of the room was wrong. There is no patio and no lake view. The room was also VERY DIRTY! TVs were so tiny! Also there are no screens in the windows. Yes they do open so please keep an eye on your kids!

I like the fact that there was paddle boats and kayaks available on site. There were several stores and or boutiques on site which was convenient. Waterville Valley itself is very picturesque and I had a nice view out my window.
On the negative side, the apartment wasn’t clean, the bed on the main floor was uncomfortable, the locks were very difficult to open as they are still using keys. It was a big struggle to open the door every time. We didn’t have a smart TV and us were unable to get Netflix which would’ve been appreciated as we had a lot of rain on the weekend I was there. The pool and hot tub were offsite at the White Mountain athletic club.
On the plus side the staff were very nice and accommodating. I had a very enjoyable meal at the coyote Grill located inside of White Mountain athletic club.

Friendly mountain, very convenient with shuttle from Silver Fox Inn. Not crowded as it was Monday 1/20 afternoon and Tuesday so the crowds had gone home. A perfect "Bluebird Day" and the conditions were perfect!

This is a beautiful little community nestled in the mountains of NH. The Town Square is adorable and effective. The feel is down home and a gathering of nice folks in a valley by the mountain. Lots of adventure right out your door!

Waterville Valley is very quaint, has a town center where all the stores and restaurants are and hockey rink attached. It is a great place for kids of all ages. They have all kinds of activities going on. The kids have a blast there. There are also some very nice walking trails encompassed in the area and a pond. The area is in the White Mountain National Forest and is quite beautiful.

Hotel is ok with history behind hit for sure. The room was spacious with useful little kitchenette.
Pros: amazing location in the mountains
Many extras with the passport card
Staff extremely friendly and helpful
Overall, ok hotel but not more then 2 stars
We LOVE it here. The hotel was great for our family to enjoy the weekend both outside the hotel and relax and hang out with plenty of room inside. The Freedom passes made for great fun to help keep our kids entertained and the pool in the hotel was great for our bunch.
I've been to this place for 4 times. It is right inside the white mountain area and this quiet town is so beautiful. And the foliage in the Waterville valley itself is worth a visit. We like the athlete club so u can enjoy some tennis, pool and shower.
We traveled for a hockey tournament, so the location was perfect (a 5 minute walk to the rink!). The hotel offered a free continental breakfast. The room was a good size and the hotel was clean. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful.
Since it was offseason, the hotel was very quiet. I liked the size of the room and the sink/microwav/fridge setup. The staff was friendly and wonderful, and I appreciated the passes that allowed us to visit the athletic club in town.
We were disappointed with the size and depth of the pool at the resort. It was also inconvenient to always have to go to the athletic center to swim. It also was inconvenient that we couldn't being food or drinks there.
Cute and cozy. Not too big of a hotel so you feel like you’re in your own world. Athletic center with indoor pool and hot tubs. Ladies at the front desk were exceptional, especially Maddy :)
Location was very close to the ski resort, Waterville Valley which was a great plus. Nice flat area to run or walk around outside the hotel. Cross Country skiing in town.
