The setting by the pond was peaceful, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The room was cozy and had everything I needed. Plus, being so close to the ocean was a bonus, and there were some great cafes and shops nearby to explore.

We love the Spring Lake and Sea Girt area of the New Jersey...
We love the Spring Lake and Sea Girt area of the New Jersey shore. It is just beautiful...almost like a fairy tale because of the beauty. All of the homes and landscaping are well cared for and maintained. The beaches are clean. We love coming to the area in the fall when it is quiet. We enjoy biking and walking the boardwalk and just enjoy the beauty of this very special beach town. It is one of our favorite places!!!

The bedroom and bathroom were both very clean, and it was obvious that the owners took pride in their lodge. There were usb plugs on each nightstand for phone charging. The bed was very comfortable and the mattress felt new, not all old and saggy. Our room had a mini fridge which was great for doggie bags from dinner. There were brand new dressers on the walk outside the doors, and when I asked I was told that they were updating the rooms. That's a great sign.

It was great having the pool esspecially for the kids. All who stayed at the lodge ran the Spring Lake 5 so, the cool water of the pool helped the adults sooth their muscles after the race.
