Cute mainstreet which is a ways off the freeway.
Cute mainstreet which is a ways off the freeway. People are pleasant. Would not recommend staying at the La Quinta...choose the new Holiday Inn Express instead. We stayed here to be near Starved Rock as Oglesby properties were booked up.

The staff at the front counter was helpful even when checking in late. I would stay again due to the value of the room vs price of stay. Breakfast looked decent but didn't have time to eat in the morning. Bed and pillows were comfortable.
