The staff was so supportive in a sense when they found out that I was there because my grandmother had passed. They allowed my family and I to sit in the lobby late and talk and have fun.

This motel was great! Desk workers friendly and helpful, room clean and beds comfortable. Full house and we were on ground floor, but never heard people above us. Breakfast was wonderful...plenty of choices including waffles, eggs, fruit, etc. Breakfast room good-sized. Highly recommend and will stay again going to/from Ohio/Florida!

Hard beds, Hardly seen any staff.
Hard beds, Hardly seen any staff. Rooms cleaned when asked not good practice during COVID. TV didn’t work. Once found staff second remote worked slow needed batteries they didn’t have. If battery in remote is old tells me remote not cleaned either. But place looks nice. Didn’t see breakfast at all but smelled it. Very small breakfast provided.

Carpeting furniture and bedspread stained, would not stay again as it is one of the higher priced hotels in the area but not up to our expectations as we have stayed here before and it has gone downhill.

Orangeburg was a pleasant discovery years ago on our journey from Pennsylvania to Florida. The people in the hotels and restaurants we have visited have always been lovely.
It's convenient to the interstate for travelers. The accommodations are fairly priced and it's easy to get around the area.
When we first discovered Orangeburg I asked where do the locals eat. I was directed to Antley's. The restaurant is a national treasure. Great bar-b-que and Southern cooking!

Eating places, and shopping was close to the area by car and some of them were within walking distance from the hotels. We ate at Sonic, IHOP, Burger King, and Hardees. Cracker Barrel was too long to wait for service. Fairly easy to travel around the city. I would avoid staying at the Quality Inn in Orangeburg.

A growing city with much room to improve in racial relationships though much has been done so far.
I grew up in the area and left in 1964 so have seen much positive changes. It is trying hard and have come a long way, yet much remains to be done.
This was the most unpleasant stay I ha ve ever experienced.
The filth was beyond belief. Everything was extremely dirty and outside of the television, the amenities were awful.
I paid $112 cdn funds for a room that was worth $29.00.
Unless I hear back from management on this experience, both my wife and I will surely telleveryone we are I contact with about our Super 8 experience .
My wife is a judge in Canada and I am executive with Ford. Our contacts are broad.
Please ensure someone contacts me.
Thank you

The staff was nice and respectful. The hotel was very clean. The staff made sure the floors were clean and my room was clean. Its smelled very fresh. The lobby was clean as well. The staff made sure the breakfast area was fully stocked at all times and they continually cleaned the surfaces. That was a plus. The hotel grounds was very clean and nice. In fact, the parking lot was being freshly paved.
The room was disgusting. I paid $200 for a dirty nasty room. I should be refunded for my trouble and inconvenience. The staff at the front desk was nice and courteous. My experience was horrible. Who would allowed customers to rent a room in those conditions. We drive hours to be in a hotel like that. I would a refund for my discomfort.
This place is a disgusting dump, mold in the bathroom rust all over the door as it is an outside entrance, no desk clerk when we got there a sign saying back in 10 helping a guest. The Baymont in Beckley WV was just as bad so never stay in a Baymont if you can help it.
Sue, the attendant who checked us in was fantastic! The room was about what you would expect for a standard hotel room. It was clean, the bed was comfortable, and they had hot water! We did not try the breakfast or the pool.
We booked at another hotel and it was disgusting. The lady at Sleep Inn got us rooms right away and allowed us to look at them before booking. She was very helpful. The rooms were very clean and comfortable.
Comfy bed, new carpet in our room, fresh sheets. Staff checking in was very on point, she was quick, knowledgeable and made the process simple. The property/ exterior of building was very clean, well kept.
Due to Covid right now, the room was spotless n the staff made us feel safe throughout our stay. Thank you for a safe and comfortable stay at Hampton Inn Orangeburg South Carolina.
As we enterered the room, we saw a Raid bomber sitting in between the 2 queen beds. So they knew that had roaches and we saw and killed several on the walls plus the bathtub
