Nothing went well, the city had rerouted all traffic for a very large road closure that was right next to the hotel. The traffic was at a standstill for over 4 hours and the hotel was not accessible. never got to check in for my half night stay as I had to continue on my drive. hotel staff and booking staff that I spoke with continue to give me the run around about refunding my charges for a room that i was not able to check into. I never stayed at the hotel but they won't refund my money. The hotel blames booking and booking blames the hotel. the hotel will not call booking they have me call and booking has to speak with the hotel team to reverse the charges but when booking call the hotel team does not answer. Its a very disappointing situation that I have been trying to resolve for over a month. Booking and Motel 6 should be ashamed of their customer service.

The location of the hotel was great --lots of restaurants within walking distance. Room was clean and average size. The front desk staff was excellent -- easy check in, no wait and provided valuable information about the area, hot tub, breakfast and parking.

If you are traveling with a dog, you could not find a better hotel for a road trip. They have their own personal, grassy, off leash park and absolutely stunning grounds with ponds and walking paths. The room more than met our needs…comfortable bed, easy access, all amenities a traveler would need. The person who checked us in was outstanding! Friendly, welcoming of our pet, and she gave us great info for our one night stay. The restaurant on speed dial on the property was excellent as well. Literally the best road trip hotel experience we have ever had traveling with a pet.

Ogden is an EXTREMELY expensive place to visit or live.
Ogden is an EXTREMELY expensive place to visit or live. There is no other reason for us to visit there other than to visit our son, his wife, and baby. Would not recommend visiting otherwise. WAY too expensive.

The room was dark and could have used repairs.
The room was dark and could have used repairs. The baseboard was coming off near the window. The a/c was blowing fan air only. The breakfast was ok, but the items were not being replenished. The breakfast worker spoke no English. Beds were clean, front desk clerk was pleasant.

Room very scarcely furnished.
Room very scarcely furnished. Nothing provided for kitchen use such as dishes, silverware, pots, pans, but you could buy them. Ridiculous. Front office almost never staffed. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to my worst enemy!!!! Total thumbs down!

Actually, I was just passing through.
Actually, I was just passing through. I might have stayed longer, but rain and snow were forecast ahead on my route. By making this a sleep-and-go I was able to enjoy the drive on east with no weather worries.

The Ogden area is beautiful.
The Ogden area is beautiful. Wasatch Mountains are different than others and interesting to look at. For us it was easy to get together with family and get to an appointment in Salt Lake City with the closeness to the freeway. Many places to eat, with lots of good food.
It was fairly easy for us to get around Ogden since we lived there for 16 years and come back to visit family whenever we can.

This particular best western pluse canyon pines in horrible.
This particular best western pluse canyon pines in horrible. I would not recommend anyone going there. The hot tub was absolutely filthy, and the staff did not care. The manager on staff, Nicolas ,was very rude, unhelpful and frankly disgusting. The staff is very poorly trained.
The hotel had an attached restaurant with meeting rooms. Reasonable prices and good buffet breakfast included.
Close to I15 north Ogden UT.
Very quiet and great staff.
We lost our baggage at the airport and the staff gave us a few personal items to clean up, after three days in airports. Thanks for the toothbrushes.
I was there for the ifit Summit Push at SnowBasin and this was my second hotel while staying in Utah! What a beautiful town! So many places to see, and restaurants to visit with an amazing view! Absolutely the best staff in Ogden! Even saw Maverick on my last night there! Will be back next year!!
The room was nice and clean. The hotel parking lot felt secure. The breakfast bar had a pretty good (late COVID) selection including waffles, yogurt, muffins, sausage patties (didn't like these), and rolls. The room was pretty quiet and the staff were courteous.
I stayed overnight for the Ogden Marathon. I needed an affordable place relatively close to where the race started and this was great. Location was awesome. My room was right by the door so it was easy for me to get to and from.
The hotel was beautiful and very clean. Very reasonably priced. All the staff were fantastic. The bed and pillows were so comfortable! And the shower water pressure was perfect.
Would definitely stay again.
We appreciate always knowing what to expect at all Holiday Inn Express Hotels, Check-in is easy, staff is courteous, the rooms are comfortable, the free breakfast is always good and we enjoy the free wifi.
The hotel was very comfortable and nicely appointed. The amenities were impressive, pool, hot tub, pool table, large seating area with games. Our kids all agreed it was their favorite hotel so far.
Love the location being right off the highway. The hotel is very clean and well maintained. The rooms are large. We had a king bed with a sofa bed and still had enough room for a twin air mattress.
Breakfast is a typical hotel breakfast and is in a separate building . Rooms were clean and bed was comfortable. There is a fitness room and swimming pool in another separate building.
