Express Motel, hotel in Northwood

3.5 miles from Ottawa Park Golf Course, Express Motel is located in Northwood and has air-conditioned rooms.

Excellent value for the money. The owner and her son were very helpful to me. I would gladly do business with them again and I recommend them if you are interested in clean, inexpensive accommodations with people who try hard to please their customers.

Hilton Garden Inn Toledo Downtown, hotel in Northwood

Featuring indoor skyway access to the Huntington Center Arena entertainment venue, this Toledo, Ohio hotel also features an on-site restaurant and spacious meeting facilities.

Location is great for being downtown. Nice to be able to walk to restaurants and the ball park. The hotel itself is fine. No room service, so I had to walk down to their restaurant to order food, they would not answer their phone. Waited over an hour for bread and spinach dip. The snack bar was completely picked over the room was pretty small. Great view of the ballpark though.

The Vistula Rose B & B, hotel in Northwood

Just a 9-minute walk from The Valentine Theatre and one mile from 20 North Gallery, The Vistula Rose B & B features accommodations in Toledo, with a terrace and a shared lounge.

This review is for Patrick, the host, as much as the place itself. Both were exceptional. The B & B is located in the historic downtown district of Toledo. The area in two directions seemed perfectly safe and interesting; in one direction, it seemed slightly less safe. The house itself is stunning. A renovated Victorian mansion with three floors, a widow's watch, and each room lovingly decorated in the style of the day. My parents have some antique Victorian furniture, so seeing familiar pieces and lots of variety was fun and made me feel immediately at home. The rooms were all unique, with their own special names (we stayed in the Worthington), and extremely comfortable. I was a little worried about sharing a bed with a friend, especially before a marathon (the reason we were in town), but the quality of the mattresses made it 0 issues. I don't know where to stop with what I liked. I loved the sitting areas and the feeling of being in a home rather than a hotel, the Keurig right outside the room made it easy to prepare tea or coffee at any time of day or night without bothering a roommate, anthe lighting of the place is wonderful... parking was no issue, the trees and flowers outside were in bloom, bringing joy as well, having breakfast with the other guests and getting into conversations... Now, Patrick. I imagine the B & B could be successful without him, because it is such a beautiful place, convenient, and great value, but he made the stay what it was. Attentive and generous with time, he took us on a tour of the whole place, even the 3rd floor (that still needs to be renovated, giving us an idea of how much work had been put into the place!). He is an excellent conversationalist (so many great stories of things he's done!), local guide (gave us the best recommendations of things to do while there) and cook. He went out of his way to make sure my friend and I had breakfast when we came back from our marathon...

    We didn't like anything.

We didn't like anything. The lobby reeked of smoke, though it clamied to be smoke free. The elevators, hallway and room also smelled like smoke. We believe there were people living there as some rooms had Christmas lights string up and plants in the window. Our room was moderately clean, but smelled of smoke. At 2:30 a.m., the people in the room next door came back from somewhere and the kids were noisy and playing, screaming and crying, untll 4:30 a.m., 2 hours!!!!! We wore our shoes while in the room as the carpet was filthy and felt sticky!!!! Ugh! The sheets were paper thin. Could not wait to leave and when we got home, we took a shower to feel clean again. It was the worst hotel we've ever stayed in. If you're wondring why we didn't compalin there and leave, we got in late from a concert and we were tired and just need to sleep before returning home the next day. I know you get what you pay for and the rate was low, but c'mon Baymont/Wyndham... what are you thinking to run a place like this?

The only positive thing I have to say is that the television was large with plenty of channels to choose from. Don't come with expectations of a hot shower and a hot cup of coffee. There is no breakfast, no ice, no vending. The room is dark even with the lights on so you'll have to keep your curtain open, but I guess that hides the cigarette burns and stains everywhere. This place should be a last resort.

It was literally so bad I was disgusted by the fact I had to let my 64 year old mother stay there. The doors didn’t lock right the beds were broken there was throw up matted into the carpet it smelled so bad like cigarettes. The employees were so rude and didn’t even acknowledge the fact that the whole hotel should be shut down I’ve never experienced such horrible hospitality through Wyndham

This property was dirty and run down. Do not stay here. We went to our room and did not even put our luggage down. Bed was a mess. Floors were not vacuumed or mopped. Smelled like dirty people. Went to the front desk and got a refund.

Seeing my family was the best part.

Seeing my family was the best part. Checking out was a highlight. I unfortunately had to go to a local office to work because the only WiFi they had was the front desk. Um no. I could not enjoy my vacation because of this. No pool. The unfortunate thing was a couple of years ago it was a decent place. Run don't stay.

We did not stay after checking in. The area was dark and people were loitering around. we couldn’t tell if they were guests at the hotel or just hanging out. The entire experience was very uncomfortable

The rooms are accessible indoors. That's about the only good thing I can say about this hotel.
