Betty at the front desk was really helpful. We needed to print out a parking pass for the Seastreak parking lot and she was able to get it to work which saves us a lot of stress since we needed that printout early in the morning. Thanks again Betty.

Staff was great and very helpful but I called to see if I would be able to checkin later in the night and I was informed that they had given my room that I reserved to someone else due to over booking. It didn't start off well

For anyone interested in our nation's history, New Bedford...

For anyone interested in our nation's history, New Bedford should be on the itinerary (i.e. Whaling Museum; Seamen's Bethel; Johnnycake Hill; County Street mansions; Saint Anthony's Church; etc.). It's also a great bird's eye view of the nation's top or number one working fishing port. You can't beat the seafood! Want to take the ferry out to Martha's Vineyard... Nantucket? This is the place. Want to go deep sea fishing? This is the place. Like Folk Music? Plan a trip in July for the New Bedford Summerfest. Did I say you can't beat the seafood? It's a shame that local & state political leadership doesn't do more to promote this jewel in the rough! On the other hand, maybe the locals are just fine with that.

A most interesting town with a very rich and diverse history, with highs and lows. A place that needs to be re-discovered more. Which I hope will happen once the commuter train between NB and Boston is at last running (after having been put on the back burner by non-South Shore politicians in Boston). Kudos to NB's indefatigable Mayor who believes in the city and its people, who leaves out not a single effort to bring civic pride and prosperity to a much too-long neglected gem on New England's coast.

Exciting place to visit, surely a town in transition with lots of history, great architecture, public arts and lots of potential from an urban development point of view, friendly people, but also unfortunately, some poor areas! Whaling museum is also great! We are glad we went.
