It's the best hotel I have ever stayed in! And I travel a lot. Newly renovated, very clean, modern looking but cozy feeling, remote control blinds very good breakfast! They ever have fireplace in front of the hotel. Pool was also renovated, water and air temperature was warm (usually we have bad experience with pools). I really recommend this place!

Loved the pie shop and driving through the town. We had breakfast at Smillie’s abs the service and food was yummy. We got donuts on the way out of town again at the Pie Shop. We were in town for a wedding so I didn’t get a lot of time to explore but I would definitely come back. Great place to stay.

The Laurel Highlands are truly beautiful and we really enjoyed the scenery. Navigating the town was a bit tricky, as it is spread out in more of a winding line rather than a grid and there would be a grouping of stores, then a long area with nothing, and then suddenly another group of stores or restaurants pop up out of nowhere. We inquired several places about a map, but no one knew of one. We used Mount Pleasant as a base of operations to go to other attractions (Fallingwater, etc..).
