The location couldn't be better. The beds are so comfortable and the vintage vibe is a nice touch. Coffee and pastries in the lobby in the morning are a very nice touch.
Just off State Route 20, this hotel is 1 mile from the Puget Sound Express. It offers spacious rooms with free WiFi. A microwave, fridge and coffee maker are provided in each room at Water Front Inn.

Exactly the kind of place I expect for the price and star rating. Decent, friendly staff, clean (once the staff clean it), great view and sound of the water, and for overall value. Everything was functional, if not the prettiest. Had no issue with late night arrival.
When we did have a problem, the staff was very responsive, even at nearly midnight, and moved us to an upgraded room for no charge and gave us lots of flexibility in how to continue our stay.
Also, the place is in transition to new ownership, along with a name change, and it brought lots of upgrades, such as new AC units and lights.

The View was Gorgeous!! It was very peaceful and quiet. The accommodations were comfortable and clean. You are located right on the water, but there is no beach access. The tide doesn't go out far enough to walk on the beach. You have views of the mountains across the sound.
