Quality private time we hit the door . It was relaxing forgot about everything else it just put a peace around us . We got in late owner met us out side and walked us in with his kindness words very welcome .

VERY Cute room and while small, there seemed to be a lot of thought in the layout such that lighting (lots - thank you!),mirrors, places to stash (drawers, shelves, etc) stuff, refrigerator and coffee area, table, etc worked perfectly. Since the nights were cool we did not have to run the AC and it was soooo wonderfully quiet - really nice peaceful area. Was also nice we really did not have to use a front desk, could just go to room. The property is on the water with a long pier and beautiful gardens - very lovely setting.
Heathsville is a town full of wonderful people. I would particularly recommend the Northumberland Historical Society, open Wednesday-Friday. Very knowledgeable members happy to help you with your family searches. Great resources there! The library is also quite nice with a friendly staff.
