Stone Ridge Baileys Harbor, hotel in Baileys Harbor

Stone Ridge Baileys Harbor is located in Baileys Harbor, just 8.4 miles from Cana Island Lighthouse and 9 miles from Cave Point County Park.

Private and spacious with multiple amenities. Communication from the property was great as they were very accommodating and helpful. Location is great as it's right near town and only a 20-30 minute drive up the peninsula or to Sturgeon Bay. Highly recommend! They even provided some light snacks and water bottles. We were super lucky and actually saw the Northern Lights during our stay from a recent Solar Storm, the picture was taken from the front driveway. I highly recommend this property if you're looking for something different as we booked this vs. a motel or hotel, the experience was fantastic!!

Bay Breeze Resort, hotel in Baileys Harbor

Located in Ephraim, 11 miles from Cana Island Lighthouse, Bay Breeze Resort has accommodations with a seasonal outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a private beach area.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Bay Breeze! It was built in 1995 and it seemed like it was a very recently built because of how well it has been maintained. It was spotless inside and out. Every morning staff were down by the water cleaning and preparing for the day. Every chair and table is wiped down from dew and bugs by the pool and along the balconies in front of each room. The room we had was wonderful, up to date with everything we needed. The only thing was the mattress and pillows weren't great. The view and the relaxed feeling of the place was just perfect!

The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating after a slight error on my part when booking. The motel and rooms were very clean and bed was comfortable. Continental breakfast was included and we were pleased with the selection. We were able to bring our pet with us and they had plenty of room outdoors to walk our pet, as well as a fenced in area for the dog to run in. We would definitely stay here again in the future.

The Door County Parkwood Lodge offers many activities, including a tennis court. It offers free WiFi access and is 0.9 mi away from Peninsula State Park.

The rooms were nice and didn't feel outdated. We loved having the pool there and the property itself was nicely kept. It's also in a nice location that is close to everything, but also not in the middle of it all.

Liked the location, cleanliness, continental breakfast, friendly receptionists and the fire pits on the beach and by the inn. Wanted room 102 and that room was listed on the reservation confirmation. We were given the keys to 101 when arriving . Didn’t cAre for the layout of 101. Being close to the water was awesome. Liked the fact that one could make a reservation for one night and not have to reserve for multiple nights.

I was there for The Ridges Nature Sanctuary.

I was there for The Ridges Nature Sanctuary. Mid-July to Aug is when the endangered and rare Hines Emerald Dragonfly is out. The Ridges is one of the few places these dragonflies can thrive. Other good wildlife at The Ridges. My travel is mainly limited to nature viewing and photography.

I enjoyed staying on the quieter side of the Peninsula There were a number of wonderful restaurants in walking distance or very near. The scenery is beautiful and we especially loved the lighthouse on Cana Island.

Had breakfast one morning at Fish Market and Grill-was excellent. The staff were very friendly and had great views of the water. Then we went to Cornerstone Pub for supper, the staff there were also friendly. The Pub was packed that night, so there was a bit of a wait-but, the food was really good. When coming into town, we always stop at the BP gas station. There is a huge selection of goodies, alcohol, and souvenirs. The view is pretty and especially love their flowers outside.

I wish the town had a few more shops to go to, because we ended up going to Fish Creek and Egg Harbor for more shops. But all the people were very friendly at the INN and in town, which was much appreciated.

Needed to book minimum of two days, you will need the time if sight seeing or wanting to visit the island, take boat tour etc. Nice smaller hotel with all the same items as bigger/ name brand hotels. Good beds, microwave, refrigerator, table in room for meals cooked on grill on patio. Close to town or area to manage smaller trips.
