The staff were really nice. They didn't have any issues letting me add a day to my reservation every morning for a while lol they were really helpful with getting my bags and kids in the Uber. I was a little late checking out and they weren't rude at all. The front desk, house keeping, they were everything! It's quiet. If anything i thought my kids would've made us the loud room lol you don't hear none but foot steps at night. And no sketchy activity so I really appreciate the time spent there. Especially with me going through a extremely hard time in life. If I wasn't broke they would have all gotten a tip

Finding out the history of Alton was a real eye-opener.
Finding out the history of Alton was a real eye-opener. To know that Alton was one of the safe havens for the underground railroad during the times of Slavery that negros found safety and help from the locals, was heart warming.

I love to drive down tbe river road , and driving around the towns by the river, such nice older homes and alton has so many historic buildings. A great place to be , don't forget to stop in at fast Eddie's, live music.
Breakfast was great in the morning. Room was clean, but could use some updating. We were there for a baseball tournament and if we won we would need to stay another night, but unfortunately they wouldn’t let us stay another night since the carpets were getting replaced on another floor so we had to go to a different hotel. Originally the front desk said they had enough rooms if we needed to stay another night.
The Best Western is one of the best hotels I've stayed at in the past year. The staff was polite & courteous. I had a great stay & my visit was like being at home.. Thank you Best Western Management & all the hotel staff. Y'all did an amazing job. See you next time

Nice lobby and dinning area, even with reduced I still ate a breakfast of hot eggs and sausage with toast juice and coffee. Walk in shower nice, but leaked and tiny shelf to hold items. Bed was comfy but a little soft for our preference.
The beds were SOOOOO comfortable! I had a wonderful night of sleep. The iced lemon water in the hospitality area was a nice touch that we appreciated when we checked in on a warm evening.
