The Håveruds Hotell was the highlight of my trip to Sweden. The hotel is on the lake, and walking distance to the Håverud aqueduct. The views are breathtaking, and the service is unparalleled. It’s a family run hotel, the owners Cecelia and Jonas are amazing!
I rented a kayak for several hours, an e bike for a day, and did a 2 hour floating sauna session. They serve fresh breakfast every morning. I ate dinner here two of the nights as well, the burger and fries were phenomenal. I’m sad I have to leave, I can’t wait to come back.
Also worth mentioning that as a female solo traveler, I felt very safe the entire time. Cecelia went out of her way to drive me to the train station the morning of my departure.

A dream of a place to stay... Loved it here! The host is so warm and welcoming and helpful, and the place is just amazing. The hotel is beautifully decorated and adorned with so much character and charm. Our room was beautiful, newly decorated, comfortable and perfectly clean. Opted for the lake view option in booking and having the balcony was wonderful watching the sun go down over the lake. And the lake, it is just lovely. Sat and enjoyed it for hours and loved a morning swim. Highly highly recommended place to stay. I would live here if I could...
