- I made a reservation in a rush and the Hotel immediately felt like in family. A tranquility beyond. Exactly what i needed. ♥️
- The tranquility of the place gave me super good vibes in a moment i need it a couple of days to stop after almost a year rushing. I felt like a new person there. 🧘♀️🧘🏼♂️
- The stuff was super professional in everything they do. They act such a discrete and serene. I ran into couple of situations and got solutions and calmness from them. 🥂
- As a person i love obsessed with art and deco even though i am not into. 🖼️
The decoration of the place was outstanding. Really liked the two pictures composition of the sides of the river landscape. From the Restaurants with plants hanging on the roof, to the impressionist paintings across the messages over the building. Loved em. I even felt asleep on the lobbies sofa looking at the walls with some music while random guests were coming from dinner laughing. Truly something.
- You can buy cool merch about Lisbon at affordable price.
- Essentially i have no fault of the place. It surprised me nicely in many ways. There is a supermarket just 10 ms away. Main tram at 50ms. Railway Station at 10 mins. And professional service at 0 meters away. And you have grass field just crossing the toad as there is a park infront. ✨
Nothing left to say. Just a Big thank you for being such a tactful in the service. 🙂💐

What an amazing stay! The attention to detail and the decor made it a very unique experience. I have stayed in Almada many times in the same neighbourhood. This has been my favourite spot.

We were officially visiting Lisbon, but chose Almada as our pied-a-terre due to its proximity and connectedness. We did buy a Lisboa pass which we understood would connect us from the Fertagus station on the Almada side to our place but it did not although the busses are run by the same company. That was the only unfortunate surprise we had. We explored Almada, Sintra and Lisboa during our three day stay and had a great time! This place comes highly
recommended.

I could not find fault with anything.
I could not find fault with anything. Staff were friendly and very kind. Food was freshly prepared and good variation also very tasty. Rooms were cleaned to a high standard and all communal rooms the same high standard. Bathroom was spotless. In general we would recommend to anyone and will be staying there again next visit.

The area around the hotel (Mercure Almada) is mostly residential with the court house down the block. It was very safe to walk around and there are plenty of places to eat along with quite a few stores/businesses. The metro is very easy to use and the bus stops in front of hotel. I was able to explore the area and go to Lisbon with ease.

I think it is worth visiting Almada, I di not have enough time to see all I wanted. 1 days stay. It is of course quite different to North side Lisbon. You really have to be prepared to walk up hill and down dale.

Almada is a very nice place to stay.
Almada is a very nice place to stay. It is easy to get around Almada centre and the tourist places. To get to Lisbon is quite easy too. The ferry is so convenient, cheap and not far away from where I am staying.
I really enjoyed Almada.

The Cacilhas Apartments were located very close to the Tram stops, which made it easy to go to my work-related meetings, and were very close to the Ferry docks, which took me to Lisbon in 10 minutes. I had the best of both worlds. They are located in a pedestrian walk that is full of restaurants.
Hosts were fantastic; arranged my trip to surprise a friend who was running the half marathon. Pam helped tremendously in making sure the surprise worked.
The room was excellent - Pam said I was having the smallest room but it was a lot bigger than some 'standard' rooms in chain hotels. The room, and bathroom, were spotless and modern. Bed was very comfortable too. The only slight negative was there were only two pillows - this was fine for me as I was on my own but could be an issue if travelling as a couple.
The location to the ferry across to Lisbon and Tram around Almada is super close making it very convenient for getting around to see everything. The restaurants nearby are lovely and we actually preferred eating local rather than in Lisbon where it was too touristy and service wasn't as good. The apart was clean and well maintained with a beautiful terrace to just sit and relax. We plan to visit here again in the future and have already recommended this place to others.
I spent four nights at the Alfonso Galo Guests Apartments II. I very much enjoyed this accommodation. It's in Almada, just a 5-minute walk from the tram stop. The area is quiet and there're supermarkets and shops nearby. The apartment has all you need for a short stay and the owners are always available and willing to give advice. Alfonso Galo Guests Apartments is a perfect choice if you want to discover Almada, Cacilhas and Lisbon too.
This property exceeded our expectations Friendly welcome by a staff member and instruction in the apartment. The location in Almada was a bit difficult to find, but a good starting point for the "Elevator" from which you can see both the Cristo Rei statue, as well as the bridge and Lisbon. Only 5 minutes walk away. Just around the corner are cafes, pharmacy, small supermarkets.
Pam was a fabulous, helpful host who upgraded us to the top floor apartment when there was a misunderstanding with the booking. Great location close to the river and ferry to Lisbon. Lots of great cafes and restaurants. Very good shower, comfy bed, very clean. Also, great view from one window down to the river with Lisbon in the distance.
Excellent hospitality and the host Simon is a very nice guy. He offered tips and suggestions so we can visit the places with ease. You can take a ferry to Lisbon and it’s just 10 minutes, Property is clean and close to the water front. Breakfast was yummy 😋 and the welcome drink was a nice surprise.Thank you Simon!!!
The best hotel of my journey to Portugal! Excellent location - in several minutes by ferry from Lisboa center. Amazing host who kindly met us and explained everything about public transport, shops etc. We parked the car just in the street near the house, for free. The patio was extremely nice. I recommend ❤
Everything!!! The place is amazing, it’s clean, it looks amazing, it has everything you need, not to mention the incredible view of the sea. The host is so nice and helpful and I can’t recommend this apartment enough. Can’t wait to go to Lisbon next time, definitely staying here!
I liked everything: good size, had everything we needed, very well equiped kitchen, washing mashine. The lication was also very good, close to a lot of restaurants, supermarket, dock to go to Lisbon (the journey was only of 8 minutes, and departure every 15-20minutes).
Location was in the centre of the main route through Almada, which gave good access to local shops.
Parking can be a little tricky, but there is a paid car park close by.
Flat felt you were visiting friends, suited me perfectly, and was exceptionally clean.
Really nice, well-run hostel with an unparalleled hilltop view of Lisbon from across the Tagus River. Expansive and roomy common areas. The dormitory-style bedrooms are as expected. Finally, the provided breakfast is a great way to start the day.
Simply the best place ever if you want to visit Lisbon but sleep and relax in a quiet area. 8min boat ferry and you're in the city center. I'm coming here next time, no doubt.
The staff was friendly and helpful. The food at breakfast was fresh and they provided a variety of items. The hotel was clean, nicely decorated and has a grocery nextdoor.
Wow! Such style. Such charm. Such comfort and fun. Kat runs a terrific boutique hotel in Almada. This hotel is a project of love, it having taken a decade to restore.
