There are a long beach and several wineries in this suburb, not to mention the cafes. Choice wines paired with a nice stay and a beautiful beach makes your stay in Onetangi a perfect getaway from home.

The beach was the nicest I have ever visited.
The beach was the nicest I have ever visited. Onetangi Beachfront Apartments are expensive but well worth the charge. There is a pub nearby and at least two restaurants on the beachfront. With perfect weather, a perfect holiday.

Onetangi Beach itself is beautiful and has wonderful views to Coromandel and the wider Gulf. There are several great places to eat and there are excellent wineries and breweries not far away. Easy to walk around the beach and cafe area and the Island bus service is easy and inexpensive if you don’t have a car.

Onetangi is family friendly. It is not a "raving" party spot though there are occasional parties, I expect. We were "out of season" and it was quiet and stunning. Friendly locals. Good restaurants. Just chill out.JohnNew Zealand
