Very nice location, easy to find and free parking. Free Wi-Fi near the reception area. Staff were nice and helpful. It was very quiet during the night and we had a good sleep. There was a small fridge in the room and one stove to warm food. There is a small playground for the kids.

Ulvik is a jewel that we really discovered by chance. Two nights was simply not enough. We met the most amazing and friendly people. The staff in the tourist information shop were so good. They were locals and knew the social and cultural history. An amazing stay. Strand Hotel staff were super helpful.

I would recommend getting a room with fjords view (great experience waking up in a morning and seeing these massive fjords from your room window), otherwise you will get a view to a parking. Rooms were clean. Breakfast was ok. There is a small sauna with fjords view on site. Some small supermarkets walking distance.

Our sons were found of this staying due to all the attention paid into providing a lot of games: old arcade game, pool, ping pong, badminton, babyfoot, trampoline!
