Location is very good. Breakfast was wonderful and the location of breakfast area overlooking the water is fantastic! There was a nice sitting area and patio over the water just outside of our rooms. The location was excellent. The check-in staff was friendly, efficient and offered good information. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. I loved being able to borrow a Rick Steves travel book on the Cinque Terre from the bookshelf outside our room! Getting morning coffee next door and sitting by the water outside the hotel was especially memorable.

Perfect location for visiting the Cinque Terra, the drive into La Spezia taking approximately 20 minutes. Also at approx. 500m in altitude it did get cooler at night which we found to be a relief from the heat of the coast. All good. I would suggest that they provide larger glasses such as pint glasses rather than tumblers but generally a stay here was better than at a Novotel or Ibis Styles. Highly reccommend.
