Beautifully designed hotel in a gorgeous building, overlooking piazza. The surrounding streets have churches, and historic houses. Quiet but atmospheric old centre. A lovely breakfast with good coffee provided.

The Palazzo is a modern type accommodation housed within a refurbished Palazzo. It is managed by a central agency that looks after multiple properties in Scicli. It was easy to find and there was free parking nearby. Staff came and met us at the property after a short wait. The rooms are large and airy but somewhat sparsely appointed. The bathroom was excellent with a large shower. The staff were very helpful and allowed us to stay longer in the formal dining room after we had checked out. The wifi worked well and we were able to stream live television from abroad. Perhaps the highlight was the breakfast which is served in a lovely little cafe housed in the lower floor. The food was amazing and plentiful and the cafe staff were lovely!
