Excellent hosts with a smile on their faces and always happy to assist. We had our plan on what to visit and where to eat, but they provided us with a map of the area and very good restaurant choices! Very clean room and very nice Mountain view from it.
Offering a pool and a bar, the stone Avragonio is located 984 feet from Papigo Village center.

The room was clean and had all the facilities we needed.
Highly recommended for anyone who wants to stay in Mikro Papingo!

Everything was great
I highly recommend to stay in this hotel

Papigko is a beautiful village, cobbled streets with quaint shops, bars and restaurants and stunning views of surrounding mountains. The only disappointment was that it seems in mid-September many bars and restaurants seem to close for at least a week break (some maybe a little longer). We were informed it was a break before the autumn/winter season starts. However there was still some places to eat and drink so all was ok. Lots a walking trails around for keen hikers. Well worth a visit to this Village, you would not be disappointed.

we visited during summer and it was the busiest village of Zagoria which made it more socializing than others. Also it has cute coffee shops and
tavernas almost every corner. It also has access to multiple good hiking routes as well as springs and lake so you dont have to travel far to access hiking paths if you are short in time or dont want to do another adventurous car ride up in the mountain.

There are tons of things to do in and around Papigko. From the walks around the picturesque village, to exploring the culinary experiences on offer, to the serene hikes and the Papigko rock pools. Before reaching Papigko, be sure to stop on the banks of the Boithomatis river and have a dip in the cold waters on a hot summer's day. The place is equally as breathtaking in the winter as it is in the summer. The air is clean it almost has a taste to it from all the lovely flora and fauna. Don't miss out, go there and you will find welcoming locals and memories to last you a lifetime.

Papigko is situated in the Zagoria mountains with interesting history and spectacular scenery. We thoroughly enjoyed our walks in the mountains and in the Vikos Gorge. The surrounding villages have lots to see with interesting architecture and history. Our 5-night visit was just right. Greece has so much more to offer than just lovely beaches!

When you are at Papigko, you should visit Ovries, the local summer natural complex of small pools between Mikro and Megalo Papigko. Mikro Papigko for its nice view from to of the mountain and for hiking to Drakolimni. River Voidomatis for rafting is another location to visit.
Really good location and the staff were super friendly and helpful. Great breakfast freshly cooked perfect after a days hiking. The view from the hotel was amazing at sunset. Local restaurants are really close and reasonably priced. Staying here rather than papingo cuts a bit of walking out of your day if you are planning onward to astraka refuge/dragon lake.
Superb accommodation! The hotel was very nice and traditional. The room we stayed in was very warm, cozy and extremely clean. The beds were also comfortable. Mr. Yiorgos who owns and runs the place is the most incredible person and he made our stay much more enjoyable with his positive attitude and hospitality.
I highly recommend this place!
We came to do hiking tracks in the surrounding Zagora mountains. The hotel was a 5 star place to come back to. We really liked the place. The owner also helped us with transportation and food for the day even though we left every morning for an early start. Highly recommended
The view from the hotel is breathtaking. The room was very comfortable and super clean and the personnel is extremely friendly. I highly recommend it!
P.S. if you drive a relatively small car, you need to be a bit careful, as the path which leads to the hotel is a bit steep.
Wonderful hotel, rustic feeling, superb views, nestled in the nature. The room was spacious, very clean with its own outdoor space with a big table and chairs overlooking the mountains. The hosts were very friendly, always there for guidance and tips. Definitely worth it!
The hotel is located in one of the most beautiful areas of the village. The rooms were basic and clean and we had a great breakfast by the welcoming and warm hostess. They also printed a map with the main attractions and advised us what are the best ones for our family.
Beautiful stone house, located in the beautiful town of Papigo.
Golfo - the owner of the house welcomed us when we came, and was always available with a smile throughout our stay.
The house is very clean and very looked-after, well equipped with everything we needed.
Great views of the cliffs, a spacious, clean and comfortable room.
The shower was really comfortable (much better than other showers we had and greece).
Good wifi.
On top of it all - the most amazing and generous breakfast! With homemade gem and pastries
The place was very special and nicely decorated.
The guy what works there was always helpful and pleasant, but his English was not so good so sometimes was hard to communicate.
The location was great as well and close to restaurants in the village.
This is a lovely clean and unique place managed by Elias, a gentle attentive host. The small village of Papingo sits up on the mountain and is beautiful. A few nice cafés and restaurants are in walking distance. very recommended!
Beautiful hotel and setting. The way the hotel blends into the village and is thoughtfully designed is beautiful. The staff are so helpful, Maria made sure we had snacks for hiking and gave us so much advice.
Breakfast was great. A lot of choices to choose from. Location was excellent with a great view of the village.
Cleanliness and comfort were also excellent and the staff were lovely and extremely polite!
Very friendly staff. The location was perfect for hiking as the trails started right next to the hotel. If you are looking for a quiet place with good accommodation, I can strongly recommend this hotel.
The hotel is in one of the best locations and yet very quiet. The staff was friendly and accommodating to our needs, and the room was super clean and always very warm (visited during winter).
Nice studio way on top of a mountain, incredible views in a great village setting. Great free breakfast, good wifi, great hosts, fast communication. Would definitely stay again.
Family owned hotel. A very warm welcome gave us a feeling we arrived home.
The rooms are simple but very clean a comfortable. Exactly what we needed after a day hike
Homey in the best way- every detail of the place was chosen with care
The view is the best in the village (it's higher than the rest)
Wonderful caring owners
