The hotel was spotless, very high standard very friendly, and poilet staff. Good entertainment, great location. My only complaint would be that pool water was exceptionally cold l love to swim and have stayed in many hotels with outdoor pools never had a problem with the temperature of the water pool was seldom used because of the cold water a lot of people l spoke to had not went in the pool for that reason the hotel has one small indoor pool but was very busy all the time it's a pity l sure solar panels could just just take the sting out of the water in a country blessed with sunshine 🌞 thay why l gave it a rating of 9 instead of 10 went half board if we return l would recommend bed and breakfast rather than half board .

Sol Principe offers lagoon-style outdoor pools, tropical gardens and a heated indoor swimming pool. With direct access to the beach, it is located on the beachfront of Playamar, in Torremolinos.
Beautiful hotel, very clean, good food, great location
We have been many times. There are regular flights to Malaga and Torremolinos is just a 10 minute Taxi journey.
We usually travel outside of the school holidays so it is never too busy. The weather is what you'd expect for southern Spain. There are plenty of sun loungers to rent on the beaches at 6 to 7 Euros per day. Plenty of Cafes and Bars that serve food too.
The sand is a bit gritty and access to the sea is tricky in some places due to the stones and shelf that drops quickly into the sea.
If you're self catering the Mercado supermarket should meet your requirements.

Loved Torremolinos. So much to do. Too much choice.
Loved Torremolinos. So much to do. Too much choice. I recommend El Dorado for tapas and a view of the beach. Chiringito "El Velero" on Bajondillo beach is fab for paella and cocktails, great location. Clock Tower in the town centre is fab for cocktails and great music; loved it up there. Found a great Indian restaurant too; Taj Tandoori which is just around the corner from the Clock Tower. Torremolinos has great access to Malaga and beyond. Trains are super easy to navigate and cheap too.

Plenty to do and see.
Plenty to do and see. A lovely long walk is a must along the beachline. Plenty of choice of bars, restaurants, cafés and ice cream parlours. There is a fantastic Vietnamese restaurant (It's Vietnam) on the front at La Carihuela - can recommend highly. Want something cheap to eat and drink? - try MG Jamon.

I liked the castle in town, nice beaches, a lot of restaurants, old town, shops, everything close & not too large. Very good place to relax. Close to the airport, so quite easy to get there & to travel around to go to Málaga, Benalmadena & other cities.
The only drawback was that it is quite windy but in summer that is probably a big plus.

It a busy Place and great people their too most speak English well so no need for translator. Get opening times too only eat out on the last night as I like to do my own breakfast/ lunch, dinner, you can get around easy by foot and plenty to see the shops our great.
Everything was fabulous.
It was spotlessly clean and the bed was firm but comfortable.
The pool area was great and never crowded.
Breakfast was varied and delicious. Proper sausages too.!
All staff were friendly and knowledgeable. Bus stops outside the hotel for Malaga and Fuengirola.
Aldi next door to the hotel snacks.
Lots of lovely restaurants of all food styles with easy walking distance.
Lots to do in the area, would recommend the Caminito del Rey and the Teleférico cable car up Mt Calamorro.
The hotel reminds me of a large old school Spanish family hacienda with authentic architectural accents and furnishings. It's beautiful. The property is walled in, with plenty of parking in the courtyard. The pool was spacious and warm, and very popular. This was my favorite city in Spain. Downtown Torremolinos and it's beach is just 2 blocks from the hotel. It was vibrant, even in early May, with a busy nightlife full of excellent restaurants with street entertainment and all-night strolling.
Fabulous hotel, fabulous location. Rooms spotlessly clean and spacious. Comfy beds, and a great sea and pool views.
Two great pools with great drinks and great entertainment, plenty of sun beds, and spotless. And a magnificent buffet to dine on each day. Fabulous selection of foods available.
The hotel staff from reception, restaurant, barmen to the cleaning staff. All excellent, always happy to help. And always service with a smile.
Arguably the best hotel in Torremolinos 👌
We like the location as we chose to be in the centre of Torremolinos. Its a nice small hotel.
We had a room with no balcony but it was fine because we spent time on the roof top by the pool where we always got beds. It may get a bit crowded if it was busy though.
The room was comfortable enough.
The gym was small but had adequate equipment to do a free weight work out.
You are allowed to use the ritual hotel which is a 5-10 min walk away.
Great variety of food at the breakfast buffet. Nice menu and drinks at the bars beside the pools. Great location, walking distance to everything. Walk out the back gate and onto the beach. Beside the marina. Great views of the marina and beach from certain rooms. Very clean. Staff were very nice and welcoming. Great service all round. Good entertainment during the day as well as night. Rooms are great size. Hotel had everything we needed.
I'm just back after spending 4 days at the N Ch hotel. Firstly don't book this hotel if you are after extensive facilities or stunning views. Basically the hotel is clean and fairly comfortable. The staff are friendly and helpful and the hotel , whilst somewhat tucked away is very centrally located for the town area of Torremolinos. For a cheap base to lay your head, it was fine.
They initiated contact with me beforehand, and we discussed how I would get the key. He drove over when I called, and gave keys to the apartment and garage. The parking garage made renting a car much easier. If all I was doing was relaxing on the beach, I would NOT need a car, as this place is within 60-100 meters of the beach. But I did need a car for my meetings for work.
This hotel is absolutely stunning. The staff are fantastic and go above and beyond to help.
It was our 1st time in torremolinos and we will definitely return to this hotel again.
A few minutes walk to torremolinos centre. Close to the beach & restaurants. Couldn't ask for more. The rooms & facilities were fantastic. The beds were also very comfortable.
Exceeded my expectation. The hotel was full but never seemed crowded, all staff members were pleasant and had a ready smile. The room was perfect, overlooking the pools and was completely quiet at nights, the non slam doors and quiet plumbing no doubt helped. I will most certainly return again.
- Nice clean hotel
- Close to the airport, only 8 minutes by taxi.
- For the price very good value for money, since an ok dinner and a good breakfast buffet was also included.
- Nearby restaurants are probably cheaper than in the centre of Torremolinos
- Friendly staff in restaurant
The service and attention to detail in this hotel was excellent. Always plenty of staff around working hard to make sure guests had a good experience and it was noticeable. I’ve stayed at 5 star hotels where the service hasn’t been as good as it was here.
The hotel is very conveniently situated a few minutes walking from the centre.
The atmosphere is pretty relaxed and friendly.
The breakfast was very good - and the SPA very nice (even though you have to pay extra) !
The staff is friendly.
The hotel and complex are first class
Right on the beech and all facilities
Pools amazing
Food first class
Service excellent
Staff helpful and supportive
Felt safe throughout our stay
Would definitely stay at this hotel again
Very helpful and friendly staff. Excellent location from the main shopping/dining street. Sea 5 min. Has a salt water pool, super as the sea was freezing. Staff speaking English which is a rare thing in Spain.
Best hotel is located in the centre of Torremolinos and as close to all the bars and restaurants I would highly recommend it for your stay and the price is amazing I have stayed here a few times now
Clean and comfortable hotel; great location for walking to restaurants and stores on the beachfront as well as Calle San Miguel, and the airport isn’t too far away. Staff was exceptionally friendly.
