Lovely, friendly hotel in the perfect location for exploring all of Weissenkirchen on foot. Would also be a great base for bicycle touring. There are many Heuriger and restaurants within a short walk of the hotel. The lovely hotel owners were always on site and provided a generous and delicious breakfast. If you want to visit the Wachau valley this is the place to stay. Tastefully renovated property with modern features while still maintaining originality. Incredible views. The staff is very helpful and accommodating. Nice buffet breakfast with a wide selection of food choices. The main restaurant is good as well for dinner. There is an outside pool, which was too cold for me, and an indoor pool for those wanting warmer water. One of the most attractive indoor pool areas you will find. A terrific winery open for tastings was within walking distance. The area around the hotel is charming.
