Near enough to the main street but far enough that you'll have a good view. We had a big room for the price and all the amenities were complete. Really had a great stay here! People are nice and check in and check out was easy and fast. Hot shower and water pressure are good. Wifi is fast, the tv has a lot of channels, and also has complementary soymilk and sandwich. You can easily ask for advice on what time the street stores close and open. Was able to maximize our stay by going around before all the crowds came in.

Located in Jiufen, 34 km from Taipei, Sunshine B&B features air-conditioned rooms and free private parking. The location is perfect, just a few mins walk to the bus station. Unlike most hotels in Jiufen, this one won't require you to climb up and down a lot of stairs. The path going to old street and bus station is uphill, though (but not a difficult walk). The accommodation is SUPER CLEAN. We were asked to wear indoor slippers and everything inside feels, looks, and smells clean and homey. The rooms are super spacious. The bathrooms are senior friendly and super clean too! The couple manning the place are so nice and helpful.

The location is really near the bus stop, and few steps away from Jiufen Old Street. The staff is really friendly and the breakfast is different every morning. You get to choose your breakfast, and they will prepare it fresh.

晶晶輕旅民宿 is situated in Ruifang, 27 km from Raohe Street Night Market, 27 km from Wufenpu Garment Wholesale Area, and 29 km from Taipei 101. We loved this place and everything about it. The host is lovely—she gave us many recommendations, ensured we knew what trains to take for our outings, gave us small gifts and goodies, offered to help us get laundry washed, and provided flexibility with check in and check out. All this she did with patience and a smile, even though we could not speak Mandarin and had to rely on translation apps. The location is excellent—walking distance to several buses and trains to nearby Jiufen, Shifen Waterfall, Bitoujiao, Keelung, and other great spots. The room itself is quiet, comfortable, and spacious with great lighting. It seems very clean and modern, with nothing out of date and everything functioning perfectly. It is well-appointed and nicely laid out. Guests have access to water, a refrigerator, a tea kettle, coffee, and fast/consistent WiFi. The toiletries and soaps were luxury, and we took note of the shower gel in particular so we can buy it to take home. This place is exceptional value, easy to book and find, and offered us complete privacy and autonomy. The host provided great communication from our initial booking until we said goodbye. Overall we give this hotel our highest recommendation—it was our favorite hotel of the 4 we stayed in on our visit throughout the island. The next time we come to the Taipei area, we will stay here.

Boasting a garden and views of sea, A Promised Land BnB is a recently renovated homestay situated in Jiufen, 35 km from Raohe Street Night Market. Everything was absolutely outstanding. The views, the location, the staff, the rooms, and the facilities were all beyond expectations. There were so many personal touches everywhere... They can not all be mentioned. The sunrise view from the terrace is like no other. We are looking forward to going back.

Located in Wulai and only 21 km from Xingnan Night Market, Sla Ulay provides accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking. We like the peaceful surroundings of nature, coupled with the proximity to many birds who turn up each day. The staff are also warm and helpful. We particularly enjoy room 201 which faces the mountains… we really love the view.

Set 34 km from Raohe Street Night Market, Twilight Forest offers a garden, and air-conditioned accommodation with a patio and free WiFi. The property is perfect in every way, it’s like stepping into a completely different world. It creates a vibe that you live in the “spirited away” world. The location is super convenient, I walked to the old street in less than 10 minutes and you get to enjoy the quiet little town all by yourself before the tourists get in in the morning and after tourists leave at night. The host is super helpful when you need anything, you can also book day tours and massage to the room with the host. I’m extremely terrified of bugs, because this is in a forest and I was traveling by myself, that was a concern. But I didn’t encounter anything in my two nights of stay.

Offering garden views, Sunflecks Jiufen is an accommodation located in Jiufen, 34 km from Wufenpu Garment Wholesale Area and 36 km from Taipei 101. The apartment was really nice and a good location withing walking distance of everything (lots of hills, but that's everywhere). Our kids liked having their own rooms and there was a nice-sized living room. We would definitely recommend this place to others.

Offering a shared lounge and quiet street view, 106 Homestay is set in Ruifang, 26 km from Wufenpu Garment Wholesale Area and 28 km from Taipei 101. Can't expect much for that price. It was a fair deal.

Room is better than picture in App. It is big size and good looking. The Owner is very nice to support everything that very impressed.
